Chapter 12
It had been 3 weeks since Robin had last spoken to Marcus. She would try his cell, but got his voice mail every time. Marty was trying her best to cheer her up, but all Robin wanted to do was cry and call Marcus. Kevin actually had the audacity to call her up and ask her out. It was like he missed the whole fight he and Marcus had, maybe “Marcus knocked out a brain cell or something” she thought. All she wanted was Marcus to call and instead she was getting calls from the cause of her problems. She was going crazy not being around Marcus or being able to hold him and touch him. She knew she had promised to give him time, but damn how much time did the brother need.

“Robin I am sick of seeing you like this,” Marty said after she walked into the room for the fifth time that day and saw Robin in the same exact spot. “Did you even move to pee?”
Robin laughed at her friend for trying to make a joke, at least it got her to laugh. “Thanks Marty.” Marty walked over and sat beside her on her bed.

“No problem. Now that that is handled let me help you with your man problems.”
Robin did not know anything that Marty could do that she had not already done, but it wouldn’t hurt to talk to someone about it.

“Well, Marcus asked for a break after I kissed Kevin and then they kind of-….”
Marty was trying to listen, but after Robin said that she kissed Kevin her mind started wondering. Why in the hell would she kiss Kevin? Kevin was nothing , but trouble and she was still mad that she actually dated him once in her life. That was something only a therapist could cure for her. “…-and now I don’t know what to do,” Robin finished not knowing that Marty missed most of the story. She looked at her friend and hoped she had something good to add to help out her situation.

“Well first you can rewind and tell me how and the hell do you kiss Kevin Davis?”
Robin stood up and looked at her friend, “Well first you move in like this,” she leaned in and positioned her hands as if she was kissing someone, “then you pucker up.”

“Shut up! You know what I mean,” Marty laughed. It was just like Robin to make a joke at a time like this.

“Well I don’t know. You know how I am. I’m just a sucker for sweet talk and he was putting it on good. In fact he has been doing that for a while. I just don’t know I think I like him in some ways,” Robin sat back down and put her head into her hands. She was just so frustrated. She knew Kevin was no good, but at the same time she was falling for everything he said.

“Hell nah! There is no way my roommate…. No better yet my friend can ever like Kevin. He is a womanizer for god sake. Robin think. What is wrong with you?” Marty was trying to be supportive, but Robin just was being stupid and naïve. She stood up and looked at her friend, who looked miserable. “Call him?”
Robin looked up at Marty oddly not understanding what she was talking about. How can she go from you are so stupid all the way to call him in one second. “Why?”

“Because if you call him and really talk to him you will realize that he is nothing, but a butt head. You will see that he only wants your shit.” Marty was really hoping that Marcus would see them together and beat the shit out of Kevin again, this time she just hoped to be there to see it.

Marty walked into the café after finally convincing Robin to call Kevin. She was just trying to get a breather from the drama going on back in her room. Living with Robin was better then watching any soap opera. Robin had twice as much drama in her life then Susan Lucci. She just couldn’t figure out why her friend was having such a hard time with boys. She on the other hand did not have too many problems with men, the only problem she could think about was getting Chris to finally ask her out.

Marty was walking over to a group of her friends when she spotted Marcus sitting over in the coffee area. He looked like he was lost in space just holding his cup.
“Hey stranger,” she walked up to him and took the sit across from him, “Thanks for saving my sit.”

Marcus only half smiled at Marty. Even though he was having a bad day he still couldn’t frown around Marty, she just knew how to cheer people up. She was a free spirit who knew what she wanted. “Why can’t Robin be like that?” He realized too late that he had said that last little part out loud.

“Like what?” Marty knew that he was talking about her, but she just wanted him to talk about Robin, then maybe he would realize he was being a big idiot for breaking up with her.

“I wish she could just tell me what she is feeling. She just…… I don’t know what she does to me. It’s like I can’t think without her.” He looked at the coffee in his hands, “Look at this I don’t even like coffee.”

Marty placed her hand on top of his, she was trying to be his friend and still be true to her roommate. “Look I know what you need to do.”

“Don’t say it. I am not ready to see her.” He pulled out his cell phone and pressed messages, “Look at this, she has called me probably about twenty times, but not one time did she tell me her true feelings. To be honest I don’t think she can feel….. You know what I so tired of this,” He stood up and tossed his cup in the trash before looking back at Marty and walking out the café.

“Shit, that didn’t work,” Marty stood up and walked over to join her friends. “Maybe they wanted have any drama going on in their life,” she thought to her self as she got closer. “I can only hope.”
*******************************************

Marcus walked out of the café and ran right into Robin, who was going to catch up with Marty and tell her about the call to Kevin. She was kind of feeling better after her talk with Marty, but seeing Marcus changed everything. She wanted to smile and run up to him, but when he looked at her like she was the last person he ever wanted to see she decided that maybe she should just go back to her room and die.
Right when she was about to turn around he told her to stay.
“Why?” Robin didn’t turn around because she didn’t want Marcus to see the tears that were starting to form. “You hate me!”

“You know I don’t hate you. I just didn’t think I would run into you here. I was just shocked.” He walked up behind her and turned her around. “I still love you Robin,” he said as he wiped a tear that had fallen down her right cheek. He looked at her standing there looking sexy even thought she looked like crap. He lowered his head, which cause her to tilt hers. “I’ll always want you,” he said, right before he captured her moist lips.

It wasn’t one of those kisses people did just to get to the sex. No between them it was more of a uniting of two souls so. The way he would gently nibble on her bottom lip or the way she would moan deep in his mouth. It was special and something Marcus had to stop right that moment. He pulled back and tried to catch his breathe. He didn’t mean to kiss her it had just happened. He saw her crying and his love for her out weighted his anger.

“Why’d you stop?” She looked confused for a minute. She then realized that he really wasn’t forgiving her. “Forget it,” she turned around and ran to her room before more tears fell. “He’ll never forgive me,” she thought right before she closed the door and started to cry. “I should just die!” This was the first time that she realized that it was probably over for good this time and there was nothing she could do about it. That was what hurt her more then anything.

This is my first time really writing so i hope you enjoy and stick around for more to come. I promise that all my characters are not like Robin, but you do have to like her. Remember this is her first real boyfriend and she just doesn\'t think of herself as pretty. So one look from anyone would make her feel good. Anyway more to come soon.
