Justin almost sighed in frustration, here he was, with an absolutely handsome man, sexual tension charging the air, and nothing had happened! It enough to bother anyone, straight or gay.
It was an apartment, just like any other apartment. He didn’t need a guided tour, honest! However, he also didn’t want to offend the charming man who lived in it either. Unable to control his urges anymore, rational thought fled as his hand snaked out to grab Desimir’s and turn him about, bringing their bodies together.
Acting on instinct, he pushed up slightly on his toes to close the short distance between his and Desimir’s lips, finally gaining the contact he’d been dreaming of since that afternoon. For a split second, he was worried; he could feel Desimir tense up. Maybe he’d just gone to fast and screwed things up.
It was then that Justin felt himself being pulled closer and felt more than heard Desimir moan against his lips. For the first time in a long time, all felt right in the world as he forgot himself in the kiss, lips parting to allow Desimir in, returning the soft caresses.
After a moment he blinked, looking up at Desimir when he became conscious that the pressure against his lips had ceased. Shaking his head slightly, he forced himself to focus on what Desimir was saying.
“…Came out of nowhere.”
Realizing that Desimir was talking about the kiss, he grinned, blurting out the first words that came to mind, “You talk too much.” That said, he leaned against Desimir, soaking in his warm, enjoying the protective way that Desimir held him close.
“I’ll keep that in mind in the future, more kissing, less talking.” Desimir joked, pulling away just long enough to lead Justin to the couch, leaving him there while he went to the kitchen.
Justin kicked off his shoes and curled up on the couch, eyes following the languid movements of his newfound interest as two wine glasses were gathered along with a bottle of white wine from the fridge. “I’m not saying that talking is over rated, just that you were doing too much of it right then.”
For some reason, after the kiss he felt much more relaxed in the other’s presence than earlier, content to laugh and joke. It was like some type of tension had cleared the air, and not the sexual tension, since that want and need was still there, but it no longer seemed like a first date between strangers. It was odd; he hadn’t felt this way since he met… Justin shook his head, not even wanting a thought of that bastard to intrude on their date.
Gracing his host with a smile, he took the offered wine glass and sipped lightly, leaning back against the arm of the couch. “So, talk with me.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
While he enjoyed having Justin leaning against him like this, he really wanted to get a little more comfortable, so after leaving Justin by the couch, he went to get the wine before settling down next to the author on the couch.
“So, talk with me.”
“Didn’t you just say that I was doing too much talking?” Desimir teased, wine glass dangling aimlessly from his fingertips. His interest in this man was growing in leaps and bounds; he never knew where Justin was going to go next.
“Nah, just at that moment in time, but you can talk again now,” Justin teased right back, a playful grin on his face.
Desimir made a light mocking bow from his position leaning against the other arm of the couch, “Why thank you so much your highness, what shall I talk about?”
Justin shrugged, “Dunno, anything. Everything. Nothing.”
“That’s a pretty tall order to handle, but I’ll see what I can do.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
It was several hours of wonderful conversation and most of the wine bottle later before Justin finally rose to leave, pulling his shoes on. He really didn’t want to go anywhere, but he had a meeting with his editor mid-morning the next day and it was getting late.
“I hate to do this, but I need to get going,” he said apologetically, offering a slight smile.
Over the past few hours he had developed a deep respect for Desimir’s dry wit, simply shaking his head when Desimir replied, “I see, I take you out for a nice dinner and ply you with wine and you gotta go home. I see how it is.”
“Well, you know, us author’s gotta take it when we can get it.” Justin started moving towards the door, very conscious of Desimir following him, starting only slightly when the jacket he was reaching for was plucked off the rack.
Raising a brow he turned to look at Desimir, “Oh, so if you take my jacket then you think I can’t leave?”
“No, I figured since I helped you take it off, I should help you put it back on again.” The jacket was held up so Justin could easily slide his arms in.
Silently, Justin wondered for a moment at his luck at meeting someone like this before spinning around to face the architect. He was silent for a moment, just watching him, enjoying the sight. “Thanks for the lovely evening, I had fun.”
Desimir nodded slightly in agreement before leaning to place a light kiss his lips, “So did I.”
The silence grew slightly awkward as they watched each other, neither knowing how, nor even wanting, to end the night. Finally, just as Justin was about to turn and go, he felt himself being tugged closer to Desimir for another kiss.
Sighing, he returned it, letting it draw him in and push the thoughts of leaving out. Tentatively, he reached up, fingers running through the longish strands and hold Desimir in place as he enjoyed the kiss.
Finally, he pulled away, sighing again, this time in regret. “I really should get going.”
“I know. I have to get up early tomorrow too. So, shall I call you?” Desimir asked.
Hearing the plaintive note in Desimir’s tone, he leaned in to his embrace for one more minute before pulling away, a teasing smile on his face as he opened the door, “Not if I call you first.”
