Chapter 13

Chapter 13~

It had now been three weeks and some odd days since Nydia had run away. Guthrie paced back and forth in his private room, made totally from stone. The fire in the grate was blazing and the room was hot, but he barely noticed. In his left hand he held a glass of whiskey, the liquid sloshing as he paced.

Suddenly he stopped in his tracks and gave a loud roar, throwing the glass into the fire with a loud crash. “IREN!” he bellowed for what seemed to be the hundredth time that day. He heard the door open but he did not turn. “Iren, go my two most loyal servants and tell them to fetch Nydia’s mother and bring her here.” He paused for a moment, knowing she would not leave without his permission. “When you have done that you have my permission to eat a meal.”

“Thank you brother.” He heard her say from behind him.

“That is all.” He said, still not turning around. He heard the door closed behind him and he let out a long sigh. Nydia would not make it back in time to see her mother die. “Oh well, her loss.” He said to the empty room. He began to pace again as he waited for his two servants to arrive, it was too cold.

“Too damn cold.” he muttered to himself. Then, he suddenly stopped his pacing as he caught sight of one of the candle sconces on the wall. “Ah, perfect.” he said, striding over to it. He lifted one candle from it’s holder and extended his other hand. He tipped the candle and poured the melted wax onto his hand, sighing in pleasure. The wax dripped down his hand, burning the skin. But, as soon as there was more melted wax on the candle, he would pour it onto the un-burned part of his hand.

He did this until his whole hand was covered in the wax. Once he was finished he put the candle back into place and began to peel the wax away from his skin. Angry looking red skin was revealed as he pullhe whe wax away, and he smiled at the pain it caused. When all the wax was gone he closed his eyes and concentrated on his hand and slowly, he could feel the burn being pulled into his body.

When he opened his eyes once more, unblemished flesh met his eyes as he looked down at his hand. He had pulled the burn inside of him, warming him. He was so pleased with himself he almost missed the knock at the door, signifying the arrival of his servants. “Come in.” he called, while turning to face the door.

“We brought her my Lord, just as you commanded.” One man said, and Guthrie tried to remember his name, Derek he thought. The other man just nodded, which caused Guthrie to remember that the second man was mute.

“Very good.” Guthrie said, stepping forward. “Close the door so what we discuss will not be over heard.” The second man did so as Guthrie took in the shuddering mass of bruises that was Nydia’s mother. “Well, well, my dear Maya. Have you decided to cooperate with me and tell me where your daughter has gone?”

“I already told you, I don’t know.” She said her head bowed. “She just ran away in the middle of the night, I did not know she was going to run.”

Guthrie signaled with his left hand and one of his servants grabbed some of Maya’s hair and yanked her head back. “Where would she have gone?” he asked, leaning over the prone woman.

“I don’t know, she has never been out of the village.”

Guthrie’s hand shot out and came in contact with the side of her face. “You lie.” he hissed. “Now, answer me. Where would she have gone!”

“I don’t know!” Maya sobbed, “I don’t know.” Horrified that she had planned to have her daughter marry this man

Guthrie sighed, “I’m t of of this woman.” He said moving away ad turning back to the fire. “Bring her back to her holding place, you can do whatever you wish with her.” Maya began to sob loudly but he ignored it.

“With all res respect sir.” His servant Derek said, “She does not stir us, bruised and bleeding as she is.” The mute servant nodded, even though Guthrie’s back was too them so he could not see.

“Very well, you may just put her in her holding place then. But, you are faithful and deserve to be rewarded. Tell me, what woman would you two desire to share?” Guthrie asked, staring into the red and orange flames.

There was a slight pause before the servant spoke again. “We do not wish to offend you sir, for fear of what may happen to us.” he said, but Guthrie waved his hand for them to continue. “We desire your sister Iren sir. She is most tempting.”

Guthrie was silent for a moment, considering. Then without turning around to look at them he answered, “Yes, that is fine, you may have your way with her.” At this Maya sobbed even harder, but he did not notice.

“Thank you my Lord.” the two servants said as they bowed and left the room, taking the sobbing Maya with them.

Guthrie began pacing again after they left, trying to warm himself. He did not stop pacing until the sound of screaming filled the air. The cries of his sister as his two servants had their way with her warmed his body and he grinned. He loved the sounds women made when their bodies were being used. He gave a cold laugh as he just stood in the middle of the room, listening. As he listened, he imagined it was Nydia making those sounds.
