Ride

Co-written with Aya

"Alright, come on guys we need to go get set up. It's getting late."

"I need a snack first."

"Jeeze you ate the whole way here. You'd think you'd be taller." Sora grunted as Hasu elbowed him in the side.

"Lets just go already."

"I'll go get you food Hasu while you set up. Seriously, we need to just attach an I.V with food or something so you don't have to eat." Reiko rolled her eyes laughing lightly as he headed off to where she could see people gathering to get food. Hasu hadn't been kidding when he said she was one of the few girls.

Which made things kind of uncomfortable. Shaking her head she kept her gaze a bit down really not liking the looks she was getting. It bothered her, especially since one of the guys was trying to come towards her as she headed to the press box.

"Reiko!" Lifting her head she saw Masa waving at her and she immediate ran over there, thankful for the unknown help.

"Masa! How are you?"

"Hungry! I placed really good! I'm gunna get to go and be in the awesome final race and stuff!"

Reiko laughed gathering food, "That's cool. I'm just getting food for Hasu and the guys. Do you want to come with me?" It was more of a plea for assistance than a request.

"Sure. Wait, why isn't Kenta with you? He should be bodyguarding you or something, especially in a place like this where there's like five girls out of a hundred dudes." Reiko shrugged but was thankful for the help as he helped her towards the concert area.

"Thanks. Hasu was hungry. He eats just as much as you do. Probably more!"

"Wow, we should have an eating contest sometime then!" Reiko laughed softly rolling her eyes.

"That would definitely be funny to see. Not sure who would want to foot that bill though."

"This is just insane." Sora was looking out across the track toward the stands. The stage was situated inside the first corner on the edge of the pond. "If there are cars racing during the concert no one is going to be able to hear us."

"I think they are taking an hour break or so and that is when we are going to play. At least that is what Daisuike told me. Something about letting everyone eat while they listen to the concert."

"Oh, I'd rather people dance and have fun, but I guess eating is alright." Ryuu was checking the position of the stage lighting.

They all stopped watching as another car swept through the turn.

"This is just too cool. I can't believe Suke thought of doing this."

"He's really thoughtful, not that he lets people know." Akira went back to turning his guitar. "Though Jiro was a little pissed he spent all of his savings on this."

"Yeah I can't imagine what it must have cost to rent this entire place for three whole days."

"I don't even want to know. I'm just glad he's happy."

Reiko giggled at something Masa said as they approached the stage area. "Hey! I brought snacks for everyone! Stop for a minute and eat them before Hasu does. Or Masa, he's been trying to pick at the things he was carrying."

Masa waved a bit sheepishly as he helped Reiko set the food area. "Ne, so you guys are gunna be playing later? What kind of band are you?" Masa tried to snag an onigiri from the pile but Reiko smacked his hand, a soft whine escaping him.

"Go get your own Masa. Hey, where's Kenta?"

"I'm right here." Kenta was standing off to the side watching everyone. "Hey Masa. You might like these guys. They are pretty good."

Ryuu bounced over to him tugging him over to where the rest of them stood. "Oh! Did you bring your motorcycle? You know they race motorcycles here too."

"Yeah, I know. I rode with Hayate and Isao."

Ryuu pouted for all of two seconds before grinning and latching on to him. "That's alright! Masa you gonna take him with you?"

"A-Are they going out?" Masa blinked staring at Ryuu and Kenta for a moment. It kind of shocked him how. . . flamboyant Ryuu was. Then again it reminded him of Tatsuya. He smiled hoping Tatsuya could make it tonight or something. Stupid work.

"No, but I wouldn't doubt that Ryuu seduces him eventually." Reiko giggled softly taking a bit of the onigiri in her hand that she took back from Masa.

"Hey! Those are for the band! You lied!"

"I- . . .Ano. . ." Reiko blinked not even realizing she had taken a bite. "Shut up and answer Ryuu's question!"

"What question?" Masa blinked then glared wanting the onigiri.

"Is Kenta riding with you?"

"If he wants. You wanna Kenta?" He grinned walking towards them. "I'm sorry, but you'll have to remove the leech from your side before you get into the car." He smirked hoping that Ryuu didn't take it too seriously. He didn't want to offend anyone.

"Leech!" Akira giggled at the shocked expression on Ryuu's face. Kenta just shook his head laughing.

"He's more like a fucking little monkey or something. Crazy weirdo."

"MONKEY!" Ryuu was staring at Kenta and for a moment Akira was afraid he might start crying. He was startled when a sly looked crossed Ryuu's face as he looked at Kenta then over at Masa. He let Kenta go and stepped back eyeing him for a moment. The next thing Akira knew Ryuu had jumped up on Kenta's back and was clinging to him grinning as Kenta staggered from the sudden weight. Akira was scared they were both going to fall but Kenta managed to right himself and glared over his shoulder at Ryuu.

"If I'm a monkey that makes you my tree."

Reiko laughed as she watched Ryuu's antics. He was totally in love with Kenta. It was obvious. Though she wondered if Kenta even knew and how he'd take it. She didn't really pin Kenta as bi or gay, but one could never know for sure.

"I still don't think I can handle that much extra weight. Also not sure you'd fit into my car now Kenta." Masa laughed, a bit shocked and amused by what was going on.

Shaking her head, Reiko hopped up stage walking to Akira smiling. Nudging him she snagged his guitar from him, flopping down onto the stage to try and tune it. Staring up at him she smiled.

"Show me how to do it properly." She was still learning to play the guitar and it was really nice to have a boyfriend who played in a band.

Akira grinned at her showing her how to properly tune the guitar. He was loving the chance to get to spend even more time with her. He was hoping that they could start practicing together. He glanced over noticing that Kenta had finaly gotten Ryuu to let him go so he could go with Masa.

He jumped startled as Hasu started his warm up. He glanced over his shoulder giving him a dirty look. Hasu just grinned at him, not letting up.

Reiko laughed at how Akira jumped, even she jerked surprised by the loud noise. Standing up she handed the guitar back to him kissing his cheek gently before she hopped off the stage, tackling Ryuu who was moping.

Poking his cheek as she clung to him she giggled. "Don't worry! He'll be back, though you'll have to stop molesting him once the groupies and fans start to show up and go back to your band. What would they say if they saw you molest a non-band member!?" She laughed turning around so she was facing him. Leaning forward she kissed his nose grinning at him.

Ryuu grinned at her, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial whisper. "That's why he's my body guard. I can hide behind him and touch him all I want and no one can say anything."

He ruffled her hair. His expression changing, becoming more serious, as he looked at her. Something about this whole situation made him stop and think a bit. "There's not anyone in the world I would rather have lost Akira to, than you. It's nice to see Daisuike so happy too. It's my turn next."

"Definitely." She smiled touching his face lightly. Ryuu deserved to be happy and she just sort of hoped that things would work out with Kenta. He was a very nice guy and very protective and would definitely make Ryuu happy. Though if he ever hurt him she'd kick his ass. Leaning forward she kissed him on the corner of the mouth softly before pulling back. "Come on, go practice! I'll be the audience! Though if Ruka's gunna race I wanna go and ride with him. . . So you might have a chair or something as your audience instead." She grinned at him happily hoping that they all could be happy and enjoy their time.

Daisuke glanced across the track hearing the band start their warm up. He was really proud of Akira and the boys. Even during their warm up they sounded great and he was excited for the concert.

"Huh, they sound pretty good."

"I told you Haru. You really need to go watch a concert."

"Sorry if I don't want to watch my little brother dance around dressed up like some chick."

"It's visual kei, it's just a costume."

"Oh yeah, then what about you, pretty boy-itai!"

Daisuike shook his fist, while Haru glared at him rubbing his shoulder.

"Chill out guys." Jiro glared at them.

"He started it."

Ruka smiled as he leaned against his car an arm wrapped around Daisuike's waist as they listened to Akira's band play from a short distance away. They could hear them perfectly with the races having been stopped. It was a maze of cars around them and he grinned happily.

"They are really good. We should really do the drifting event. They'll draw a nice crowd if this size is any comparison."

"They are really good. I hope they go mainstream sometime soon. Since Hasu joined the sound is even better." Daisuike snuggled a bit closer to Ruka enjoying the beautiful evening. It was so nice to be with the man he loved surrounded by their friends and family. "I'm still working on the drifting thing. It's taking a bit to convince some of the shop keepers that it's a good idea."

"Yeah I can imagine." Ruka smiled stretching and pushing off the car. He turned to Daisuike happily, "If you need help I can speak with them. I don't mind-"

Ruka's words caught in his throat a bit as he felt slender arms around around him, a small frame pressed against his back. A soft spicy smell caught his nose and he smiled as lips were brought to his ear to whisper a hello.

"Hello to you too Tatsuya." A small smile crossed his lips as he went to move but Tatsuya held him close staring over his shoulder towards Daisuike, a sly smile on his lips.

"Is this him? Your Ouji-sama? He's pretty."

"He's also taken."

"Doesn't change that he looks yummy."

Daisuike blinked looking at the man who was suddenly clinging to Ruka. He wasn't sure what to make of him just yet and kept his expression neutral. Though, the urge to tell him to keep his hands to himself was very strong. Daisuike was a little surprised at him self, not having thought that he would be the jealous type, but seeing someone being so familiar with Ruka gave him the oddest feeling.

"Tatsuya, can you let me go now?"

"No. . . I missed Ru-kun." He smiled sheepishly as he nuzzled Ruka's neck which made the man sigh in return.

"Come on Tatsuya, don't make me remove you forcefully."

"Will you use handcuffs?"

"Tatsuya."

"Fine. . ." He whined softly stepping out from behind Ruka to sit on the hood of the car, revealing a slender frame in shorts and a jacket. Ruka turned to look at him and frowned.

"Did you just get off work?"

"Yeah."

"And you touched me with those hands?"

"I washed them. . ." He pouted pushing his bottom lip out a bit as he stared up through his bangs at Ruka. "I got new clips. Aren't they cute?" He smiled happily touching the clips that held some of his hair back.

"Yes Tatsuya." Ruka sighed looking at Daisuike smile apologetically at him. "Ouji-sama, meet Tatsuya. Tatsuya, Daisuike."

Daisuike nodded. If he wasn't sure what to think a moment ago, he really didn't know what to think now.

"Nice to meet you, Tatsuya." He looked up at Ruka, "Ano, I think I'm going to go grab a drink, would either of you like anything?"

"Beer."

"Tatsuya."

"Beer."

"Goddamnit, fine. Beer for him. Ano. . . Coke for me?" Ruka smiled gently moving close to kiss him. "Hurry back." He stroked his cheek gently before leaning against the car watching him.

Daisuike frowned as he headed to go get the drinks. He was pretty sure there wasn't any beer and he wasn't sure what else Tatsuya might drink. As a host he hated being unprepared, even if it had seemed as though Ruka didn't want him drinking.

He couldn't help but wonder how they knew each other and decided it was probably best he didn't know. He was surprised to find a case of imported beer in the fridge with the other drinks. He hoped it was to his liking because there wasn't anything else. Grabbing a couple of cokes he headed back. He was going to need to sit and take it easy for a bit. It had been a while since he'd done so much in a day and it was starting to wear him out.

Ruka smiled as Daisuike brought the drinks over. Seeing the beer he frowned but passed it to Tatsuya.

"Sankyou Ouji-sama."

"Oi! You're not allowed to call him that. It sounds dirty when you say it!"

"Sounds the same, you dirty pervert."

"Shut up Tatsuya! I am not a pervert!"

Tatsuya snorted taking a swig of his beer. "Actually, he really is isn't he Dai-kun." He leaned forward looking at Daisuike smiling.

Daisuike watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and confusion. He really didn't want anyone else calling him that so he was glad Ruka told him not to but the usual way Tatsuya referred to him confused him. He looked at him for a moment before the realization he'd been asked question sank in. He immediately dropped his gaze his cheeks heating up.

"An-ano . . ."

"See, you're a giant pervert. I bet you do all sort of kinky things-"

"Tatsuya. You may be my friend but I swear I'll toss your ass off this car."

"You'll ruin my body and then-"

"At this point I don't care. Hush."

Tatsuya pouted looking at Daisuike seeing him blushing then grinned before hopping off the hood and walking to him, the jacket unzipped to reveal the low cut shirt underneath.

"Ne. . . Dai-kun. . . You have fun with Ru-kun, ne?"

Daisuike's eyes widened slightly as he stared at Tatsuya for a moment before looking away. He wanted to go find some where to hide until he could regain his composure. His truck was his first thought, but his second thought was what Ruka had suggested they do in his truck. Nope, better not go there.

"I . . . eto . . . I need to go check on something."

"Tatsuya! Leave Ouji-sama alone!!" Ruka hissed in anger pulling the brunette away by his jacket. "Go ask Fuji if he wants a handjob or something." Ruka glared at him as he stepped next to Daisuike.

"Wow, you're really protective of him aren't ya?" Tilting his head to the side Tatsuya smiled at Daisuike, "Sorry. I didn't realize you were different than the other boys Ruka's had around. You're something special, ne?" His smile widened and he turned some, "I'll go talk to Fuji and Masa and leave you two alone."

Ruka nodded slowly, wrapping his arm around Daisuike pulling him close as Tatsuya left. "I'm so sorry about that. Tatsuya is. . . a handful sometimes."

Daisuike turned slightly wrapping his arms around Ruka's waist and laying his head on his shoulder.

"It's alright." Daisuike was surprised that Tatsuya's statement had gotten to him as bad as it had. He knew, had known from their first date, that Ruka had been with a lot of people and while it didn't bother him it kind of hurt his feelings that someone would think that he was like them. He had been hoping that doing this for Ruka would show people that he was willing to do anything and everything to make sure he was happy.

"Tonight, I want to try and fix dinner. If you're really against it, let's go out to a really nice dinner, okay?" Ruka smiled softly. He wanted this entire night to be perfect and good. Why did Tatsuya have to upset Daisuike?

Stroking his side he smiled looking towards the stage resting his head against Daisuike's. "Is there anything special you would like to do tonight?"

"I don't care. As long as I get to be with you anything is fine." Daisuike closed his eyes. He was more tired than he realized. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for your friend to leave, he just kind of surprised me. I'm being a bad host. I'll go apologize."

Ruka shook his head, "Don't even think about it." Pinching his ass lightly, Ruka smiled, "Stop playing host, you're tired and worn out. I think maybe after Akira's concert we should head back. I'm pretty worn out and the guys can handle the track on their own."

Daisuike twitched his eyes flying open as Ruka pinched him and he went to move back only to feel those hot lips on his neck. It sent a rush of heat through him, the tiredness fading slightly.

"I think dining in would be our best option. I'm a bit too tired to get all dressed up to sit in a fancy restaurant and eat small portions."

"Th-that sounds like a good idea. I just need to make sure everyone understands that the track closes at eleven.

"We'll have Ryuu makes an announcement for us." The way Daisuike's body was complying with him was very nice and it made him move his lips closer to his ear, nibbling softly as he teased him. The darkness hid them and there weren't a lot of people around them. Slipping his fingers under Daisuike's shirt, he caressed the skin lightly enjoying the shiver that went through his lover.

"You're eager aren't you. . . Should I not bother waiting until we get back to our room or should I move us to your truck?" He grinned as he nipped at his neck softly, loving the taste and smell of Suke.

Daisuike looked up at Ruka raising an eyebrow. It was getting more difficult to think clearly with those soft fingers caressing him. All he wanted to do right now was go back to their room and just enjoy being with his lover.

"We don't have to wait until the concert is over if you don't want to."

Ruka laughed at Daisuike pulling him closer as he leaned back against the car. It seemed that he wasn't the only one wanting to head back to their hotel room and spend some quality time with each other.

"Whatever you want to Ouji-sama. You may have reserved this place for me and my friends, but I am still at your command." He leaned forward kissing him, "I'll make any of your requests come true."

Daisuike smiled leaning into Ruka as he watched Ryuu dancing. The boy was nuts, but no one else could pull of the stuff he did. Akira looked like he was having fun too. It was what he wanted, to see everyone having a good time.

"Really? Any request?" Daisuike thought for a moment before grinning to himself. He leaned close to Ruka's ear. "Take me for a ride in your car."

Ruka stared down, startled at the request. Daisuike wanted to ride in his car? Was that some way of him saying he wanted to have sex in the car because Ruka knew Daisuike wouldn't want to ride in his car again. Would he?

"W-What? When? Which car? Is this some secret code for sex?" Ruka almost cringed thinking that last part wasn't actually suppose to leave his mouth as he thought it.

Daisuike chuckled amused that he'd caught Ruka off guard. "Yes in your car. I don't care which one. I had fun driving my truck earlier and I want to see how it feels to go faster. I just don't trust myself driving any of your cars. As for the other thing . . . we'll see."

"I- . . . Are you sure?" Maybe he could push 90 this time. They'd have to see how he was feeling. It excited him though and he really wanted to please him. Leaning close he kissed him.

"Should we wait until the concert is over? Or did you want me to do it now? Either is fine, they can throw a hissy fit when we get back after we blow past their area and taking their lime light."

"They are going to be finishing up soon anyway." Daisuike was now a little nervous, but he wanted to do this and if he didn't do it know he had a feeling he never would. Ryuu's question had given him the perfect opportunity to ask and part of him was surprised he had. Masa was right though. He had to get over this fear even if there was a sound reason behind it. "Ryuu said no encores tonight since they are playing again tomorrow for basically the same crowd."

"Alright. We'll take my Skyline then." He smiled softly taking Daisuike's hand leading him towards where the car was parked. His heart was racing a mile a minute and he felt anxious and nervous. Why was this any different than before? Maybe because Daisuike seemed to want to go fast?

He'd make sure he didn't go too fast. Not until he told him and then he'd slow down. Definitely no drifting yet though. That might never come but that was fine with him.

As he opened the doors he helped Daisuike's buckle up, smiling softly and kissing him before he placed the helmet on Daisuike's head.

"Your safety comes before mine Ouji-sama."

Shutting the door he slipped into his seat fastening his own buckles. "You ready Ouji-sama?"

"I'm ready." Daisuike grinned liking the fact that the helmet smelled like Ruka's hair products. It was heavy, a lot heavier than he expected. He almost told Ruka to wear it since he was driving but decided not to. For some reason having the helmet gave him a sense of security, kind of like the feeling he got when he was carrying his knives on him in a dangerous part of town. If he was going to ride with Ruka very often he'd have to buy himself a helmet.

"Let's go!"

Ruka smiled at him, patting his leg before he nodded. "Alright." Grasping the wheel he took off down the straight, almost feeling bad for the band if they didn't finish soon. Hell, they probably could hear them already and he knew either he was going to be yelled at for driving during their concert or yelled at for not taking Akira.

"Am I going too fast?"

Daisuike shook his head the helmet feeling odd. "It's fine. Seriously Ruka you can go faster. If it starts bothering me I'll tell you."

Ruka nodded, hitting the s-curve smiling softly watching the needle hit 80. With a quick glance over at Daisuike he saw him basically not even bothered by the speed. As he took the next section he decided to speed up just a bit hitting nearly 87 excited. If he could it 90 then 100 would be fine. After that the speed just seemed the same. At least it did to him.

Ruka laughed a bit happily and really hoped one day he could take Suke out to a real race going 200.

Akira was a little shocked to see the car shoot passed the stage. It had looked like one of Ruka's cars. Though he'd though he'd seen two people in the car. He shrugged, they were almost done anyway and the sound of the car speeding around the track only seemed to add to the music in his opinion.

He was excited to go hang out after the concert and meet some more of Ruka's friends. They were a really cool group of guys and he really wanted Ruka to take him racing again sometime soon. Hopefully later that night or tomorrow. Who knew when he'd get another chance like this.

Ruka blinked in shock as he stared down at the odometer as he read what it said. 105 mph. Daisuike seemed perfectly content as well as he took the 200R, itching to drift but he wouldn't dare to do it. Deciding to test the waters a little he shifted, hitting the gas a bit more glancing down every couple seconds to see how fast they were going.

Watching the needle go higher and higher he glanced towards Daisuike wanting to make sure he was okay.

"Are you fine? Slower? Faster?"

"I'm fine. It's not like I thought at all." Daisuike looked over at him grinning behind the helmet. He was glad he'd taken Masa's advice and was going to tell him he was right the first chance he got. "I don't know what I thought it would be like, but it's fun. I can see why you like it. You can go faster if you want."

Ruka nodded smiling, excited and truly happy for Daisuike that he was getting over his fear. Shifting once again he decided to press harder against the gas as they went over the Crossover heading into the 130R. Glancing down once more he laughed excited.

110.

They were going 110 miles per hour and Daisuike was fine. Ruka couldn't contain his joy and he slowed them down after 121 as they got to the straight to the finish line. As he pulled to a stop, he unbuckled, turning to Daisuike to unbuckle him and remove the helmet kissing him passionately.

"Ouji-sama! We went 121! You're fine and we went so fast!" Ruka was laughing happily as he held Daisuike to him then pulled back studying him.

"You're okay, aren't you?"

"I'm fine, seriously I'm fine Ruka." Daisuike reached up running his fingers lightly down Ruka's cheek. "Sometimes you just have to face your fears and trust the one you love and I trust you more than I've ever trusted anyone in my life."

He leaned in kissing him lingering in the sensation before pulling back slowly. "Thank you for being so patient with me."

Ruka smiled gently at Daisuike touching his face stroking his jaw. "Anything for you Daisuike. I love you more than I thought I possible could love someone and I'm glad it's you." Smiling wider he leaned back some, "Come on. Let's go see everyone. I think the kids want me to take them around the course tonight so I should do that before we leave."

Slipping out from the car Ruka went around to help Daisuike out, lacing their fingers tightly together. Anxiety to get home was making it hard to want to take people out to race, but he promised and he would make tonight special no matter what time they went back to their room.

Daisuike wasn't all that happy that Ruka had promised to take people for rides around the track, but he wasn't going to complain. He was having more fun than he could ever remember having and couldn't imagine spending the time with anyone but Ruka.

"That's fine. I haven't really got to visit with your friends yet and I want to make sure everyone is having a good time."

"Stop playing host Ouji-sama." Ruka frowned kissing his head lightly. "Go enjoy yourself. If I see you getting people drinks I swear I'm not gunna be happy." He kissed him again lightly.

"I won't be long. I think it's just Akira and his friends and Hime-chan. Give me 20 minutes tops." He winked at him as he groped his ass chuckling softly as he walked off towards the stage. He wondered what Akira and his friends would think if he joined the screaming mob of girls at the front of the stage.

Only one way to find out. . .
