And
“Daddy!” Delilah looked away, pouting. “I created him.”
“And He is MY future husband. Now would you shut up and let him explain what is going on here!” Kitten yelled at Delilah. “You spoiled little brat!”
“You..I’ll..” She growled yet again. Delilah’s eyes met Kittens and dangerous sparks were flying. “I am going to ..”
“Will you please be quiet?” Rami pulled Kitten away so that she was behind him. “Love..don’t encourage her.” He looked up. “Please..forgive, sir. What do you mean when you say she is something else?”
“I mean that she is neither mortal not Genie,” Mekiya answered, resting a hand on Abdel’s shoulder. “When she wished that you were more like her, she also became more like you, gaining the powers of a Genie, without the hindrances. And with the power gained by becoming a Jin, her powers also increased. Thus, she’s above a Genie, yet not quite a Jin. And quite able to hold her own, I see.” He chuckled lightly. “And I would say that she is quite correct, Delilah. You are a spoiled little brat.”
“So, she wished herself to be like that?” Leon asked.
“Not exactly.” Mekiya shook his head. “It was something that was assumed by the power of the wish. That’s what happens when all specifics aren’t covered. The magics made Rami more like her, but could only do so to an extent, so had to make her more like him. Yet she remains free, never to have a master.”
“Daddy!” Delilah looked away. “I still created him.”
“You KILLED my family and tricked me into being your slave.” Rami tensed.
“Jee, now who is encouraging her?” Kitten peeked from behind Rami. “So..um..Well, sir. We kind of have this problem and quite frankly, I am really tired of fighting. And I want to get to my wedding because well, what girl wouldn’t want to? So could you zap a couple of problems for us since you’re a god and all? I’ll...invite you to the wedding? My dad makes a killer sweet cake.”
“Kitten, you can’t just ask a god to settle your problems.” Rami whispered.
“Why not? He is a god and people pray to the gods for help. And you and Abdel are frightened of these Kithkin or whatever you called them.” Kitten smiled. “So why not? I mean I called her tacky. Why can’t I ask this?”
“I really do not like you.” Delilah mumbled.
“Feelings are mutual,” Kitten replied.
Mekiya chuckled. “True, though we can not help mortals with every little problem. If we did, they would not learn to do things on their own. And then what would be the point of having free will?”
“It is not a normal problem, Master,” Abdel said. “It is Kithkin, as she said. At least two, perhaps more.”
“Kithkin?” Mekiya looked surprised t hear this. “I thought they had all been taken care of. Hm, this is most interesting. Where are they now?”
“Well, we think they might be coming this way,” Leon said. “Seems someone used them to kidnap Kitten, and we think they might try it again, given that she escaped.”
“The Sultan, Aziz hired one named Imad? Yeah, that’s what he was called. I never saw his face but he spoke in terms like we thank you and all of that.” Kitten glanced at Delilah. “I could always offer them you.”
“What ever.” Delilah sneered. “Like they would want a pathetic thing like you.”
“At least my own father isn’t calling me a SPOILED BRAT!” Kitten retorted.
“Here we go again.” Rami sighed, pulling kitten further back. This time he silenced her by a quick kiss. “Please..stop.”he whispered.
“Set aside the childish bickering for a few moments,” Mekiya said. “This is something that we must attend to. However many there are and wherever they might be, we need to make sure that they are contained and are a threat no more.”
Leon glanced at the God. It seemed that he wasn’t amused by Kitten and Delilah fighting anymore. “So, how do we go about that, exactly?”
“We could wait for them to come here, or we could go after them,” Abdel said. “My guess is that they will not come, feeling both Delilah and Mekiya here. So we will have to go after them.”
“They were in some Alley way.” Kitten looked up. “It was night when I was dragged down it, so I couldn’t see exactly where they lived. But..they were some what close to that big, fancy inn in the big town. Riyadh, I think.”
“That would put us right on their terms.” Rami shuddered. “We should lure them out.”
“I can suggest some bait.” Delilah wasn’t letting it go.
Kitten looked away, sighing. She was not going to reply to it.
“Delilah,” Mekiya admonished her. “Enough. He has no interest in you, and given your attitude, it is not hard to see why. We have bigger problems beside your inability to accept the fact that Rami does not desire you as a mate.”
Abdel chuckled silently. It was refreshing to see Delilah put in her place. Too often she got to thinking that she was more powerful than she really was.
“So, we go to Riyadh, then?” Leon asked. “And any idea what happens after that?”
“Kitten has been there before, I believe she could lead us there again.”Abdel replied.
“You mean you’re including me?” Kitten grinned. “Alright, well..I could probably figure out where the alley way was.”
“Okay..” Rami pulled her into a hug, his forehead touching hers as he smiled. “Together. And do not think that i won’t send you away, where it is safe, if things go sour.”
“They won’t.” Kitten whispered. “You have me to protect you.”
She kissed him lovingly. Delilah gagged silently as she looked away. Her father was supporting this?
“I am going home.” Delilah stepped away. “This is none of my business or concern.”
“Perhaps you should get some manners while you are there,” Abdel whispered. He really had nothing against her personally, but she was a bit childish at times. He turned back to Kitten. “And yes, given that you have been there before, the knowledge of how to get there rests within you still. It is only a matter of discovering it.”
“And I do not think that she will have anything to worry about,” Mekiya said. “Anyone that can stand her own against my daughter is certainly capable of handling anything that might be found here. Now, I suggest we take a bit and rest in preparation of what we are about to face.”
“Okay. Come on dad.” Kitten moved past and grabbed her father. “You get to make your cake for everyone while they talk magic..planning stuff.”
“Hey!” Leon was dragged off.
“That’s my goddess.” Rami chuckled. “And now we see just one of many reasons that I love her.” He motioned to the palace/house. “Please come inside.”
“Stupid..” Delilah was gone in a moment. “She’s no goddess.” The girl mumbled as she left.

“I’ll show them.” Delilah was not happy in the least. “My own father? How could he support that girl over me?”
A scorned goddess was no thing to play with. Worse yet, a scorned, ignored goddess was no thing to ignore. Delilah hurried back towards her room with a plan in mind. Sweet cake was it? She would make sure that sweet cake was the beginning of Rami’s servitude to her.
“It’s too perfect. His own pre wedding cake will mark the beginning of his returned loyalty to me.” Delilah laughed as she picked up a vial. “Lets see them fight the kithkin without the all powerful Jin.”
She grabbed a second vial, nodding. The insurance that came with this, was enough. Something to cover the bitter taste of the first. Something that wouldn’t effect the Magical kind that was already living an immortal, young life.
“Ambrosia juice.” She whispered. “And now, to switch the ingredients. With my father there, they will never feel me come.”
That brat of a girl would pay after she got Rami back. Her toy was hers. She made him. She was grounded from him for five hundred years. Her father took him away and said you might get your servant back. She was angry then and now? She was determined and angry. It made for a bad combination, at least for those that she was seeking to get revenge upon.

“Here we are.” Leon smiled. “Just for my future son in law and my little girl. Cake, made with cinnamon, honey and candied walnuts.”
“Thank you daddy.” Kitten grinned. “You will like this, Rami.”
“It smells delicious.” Rami glanced around the room. Something felt off. “Is it me or...is it too quiet?”
“What?” Mekiya asked. “I suppose it does feel ...cold.”
“I agree.” Abdel stood. “Please excuse me while I go check on things, outside.”
“I am going to check on things elsewhere.” Mekiya had one of his feelings. “I will return shortly.”
“Hold on, we will go.” Kitten had forgot about her father in the kitchen. “Er, I mean with Abdel”
“Kids?” When Leon came into the room with the cake platter, no one was in there. “It’s just cake.”
“They will be back.” He sat down, sighing. “Wish they would include me though.”
He snipped a little bite of his cake, tasting, testing it. This was even sweeter and better than usual. He jumped when the cake was literally zapped.
“No!” Mekiya appeared. “My daughter...” Before he could finish, he saw Leon. “She didn’t.”
Leon was changing before his eyes. The older man’s looks were retreating and being replaced by a younger, much more vibrant man. Mekiya quickly whispered a few words but they would only stop the bitter ingredients effects. He couldn’t stop the effects of the ambrosia juice. At least she hadn’t switched things with full Ambrosia. The juice simply effected a mortal in such a way that it acted like the proverbial fountain of youth, with one kicker. It lasted for more than just one life time. It was a permanent thing.
“No one was out there. I think you guys are being para...”Kitten covered her mouth to stop the gasp from coming. “D...Daddy..”
“My daughter was trying to gain revenge. The cake that was meant for Rami and you, she switched ingredients.” Mekiya sighed. “That girl..I took care of the cake but not in time to stop your father from taking a test bite.”
“I...”Leon finally spoke. “ Kitten, Where is my Kitten?”
“Don’t you recognize me daddy?” Oh this girl was going to pay if she made Leon forget her. “Please...say you do.”
“Kitten? What’s wrong.” Rami ran in, followed by Abdel. “Kitten?”
“I think ...we should be saying...Leon.” Abdel blinked.
“I remember..you. You’re Felicia. You should be in bed, honey. You’re sick. I’ll..take care of baby Kitten.” She looked almost exactly like her mother. He stumbled forward to hold her. The sudden change to his body was a bit sudden and a bit disorientating. “I don’t..feel so good all of the sudden.” Leon fell to his knees, taking deep breaths.”Felicia..go to...bed.”
“Daddy!” Kitten, already beside him, cried. “I’ll kill her! Daddy, what’s wrong? I am Kitten, not Mother! You have to help him Mekiya! He doesn’t..think I amKitten. He thinks I am mom.” Tears were starting to fall.
“He is okay. The sudden change is weakening him. He needs rest.”Mekiya shook his head. “I already punished Delilah for this. It seems she managed to strike in an inadvertent way at you though.”
“Come, lets get him to a bed.” Rami walked over and pulled Leon up so he could help him walk. “You will be fine after some rest.”
“What if the Kithkin..come?” They were vulnerable without each person there to be alert. Their attentions were being split up and they were being made to worry. “And what did you to do her for this?”
“She won’t be doing any sort of what you consider magic for a while. I have taken her powers.” Mekiya looked at Kitten apologetically. “I am sorry. She won’t get her powers back until she really learns a lesson from this. And knowing her, she may never learn it.”
“I will go check on things.” Abdel walked past them. “This will let Rami be able to be with you. And..as far as the Kithkin go, I do not think they will come with the presence of The gods here.”
“I will stay and make sure they do not come.” Mekiya nodded. “It is the least I can do after what my daughter has done.”
“Thank you.” Kitten could barely whisper at the moment. Her father, he was changed? Delilah did this. “Daddy.”
She watched him be led away to the room. After everything, she was still being attacked in little ways! It was infuriating. Kitten turned and moved for the door. She needed some fresh air before she exploded. And Rami was the only one who would follow after her. The others were either too weakened and or too smart to go after an angry woman when they weren’t her lover or father figure.

“Kitten.” Outside, Rami caught up with her. “Wait up.”
“My daddy.” She turned. Kitten was in tears still. “He doesn’t know me.”
“He will remember you, Kitten.”
“What if he doesn’t?”
“He will. Just give him time. His body has gone through a massive and quick change.” Rami reached out and pulled her into a hug. “I love you Kitten. I wouldn’t lie. He will remember. He is disorientated. That’s all.”
“When I see that girl...” Kitten tensed. “I will knock her so far out of this world, she will be going into orbit around Pluto!”
“Please my love.” He turned her so that she faced him. “He will remember. Have faith in it. Have faith in him.”
“He called me..m..my mom.” She looked down. Her tears dropped to the ground. “My mom..”
“Kitten..” Never had he felt so helpless. “I will do my best to make things as right as I can. I promise.”
“Why would she do this?”
“Because she is jealous of you. She is jealous that I am no longer her slave. You took her in a magical battle. Her anger and her spite make her both an ugly and immature child.” He kissed her softly. “You...have what she will never have and she knows this. So she struck out at you, knowing that we have troubles already.”
“But she is a goddess. Why be jealous of me?” Kitten sighed. “Why take away my father?”
“I don’t think she was aiming at your father.” He wiped her tears away. “I think she was expecting you to feed me the first bite of that. Ambrosia juice makes our kind a little..disorientated, yes but the other ingredient..It would have made me fall into a spell that would force loyalty.”
“I am going to rip all of her split ended, white hair out!” Kitten was beyond angry right now. “And all her father did was banish her powers?”
“He is her dad. Your father wouldn’t do anything extremely harsh to you. He has to live with her. So, the best thing we can do is forget this and be the bigger people. She is nothing. We have each other. You will always have me, my love.”
“Rami...What if I never have my father again?”
“You will. He will always be your father, no matter what he remembers or what he doesn’t. It is our job to make him remember. That’s all.” He hugged her again. “I love you, Kitten. Together we can do this. We can overcome what ever is thrown at us.”
“My dad.”kitten buried her face into his chest. “I don’t care that he is young again. He probably would like that, if he could remember..”
She burst into tears. Her father had been her whole life up until recently. It was a large hurdle that she had to over come. It was a large road block as well. With the tempers and the feelings as they were, the group was at it’s weakest point.
“And He is MY future husband. Now would you shut up and let him explain what is going on here!” Kitten yelled at Delilah. “You spoiled little brat!”
