Serenity

Serenity let a low grunt escape her. She tried to open her eyes but it hurt to see. She cringed and placed hands over her shut eye lids. What had happened? She didn’t remember a thing past being rushed out of the ball room. The pain her body felt made her grunt again. This time it came louder and the Ears of a certain handsome prince caught it.

“Serenity, You’re awake.”

She tried to look up towards the direction the voice came from but again pain shot through her eyes and ran down straight to her entire body. Silvan was already beside her. His hand pulled her hands away from the sensitive eyes.

“I can’t see. Silvan..”The sound of panic overwhelmed her. She grabbed his hands tighter and pulled him closer.”It hurts to see.” She trembled now.

“I am right here. I won’t leave your side.” He wrapped his free arm around her and pulled her close into a hug. Her cheek pressed against the smooth material of his shirt.”Don’t rub your eyes Serenity. It will only make them hurt more.”

“What happened? I don’t remember.” Serenity’s eyes remained closed. She could not open them right now if she wanted to.”I remember pain. The clock...Everyone stopped to look up at a clock and than I felt pain. That’s all I can remember.”

“I’m not sure what is happening right now. We are at the temple of light. The priestess Veleska came to help you in the ball room. She helped to keep a shadow being away from you and your mother.” Silvan scooted him self onto the bed and pulled her next to him as much as he could.”After that you passed out and we brought you here.”

“Mother!” Serenity’s eyes flew open. They closed just as quickly from the searing pain. It was too quick for Silvan to even get a look at her eyes.”M..mom Where is she?”

“She is talking to the sisters right now. They wished to speak with her alone first. They wanted to wait for you to wake otherwise. This way they knew you could also be talked to and told what might be happening to you.”He tried to speak calmly and comfortingly. Silvan was her pillar of strength right now.

“So she is okay?”

“Yes. She is fine.”

Silvan removed his arm from around her. Serenity froze when she felt him pull away. This was a scary feeling for her. She could not see! He was her only comfort right now.

“Silvan!” Serenity desperately reached for him. “Where are you?!”

“Its alright my sweet. I am here.”

“She heard material rip as he spoke. Her ears picked up on many small sounds. Serenity than felt the soothing comfort of his shirt against her skin. He had torn a piece of his shirt away and used it to wrap around her eyes as a blind fold. In this case it was more like a protection for it was easier to keep your eyes shut with something over them.

“What..is this?”

“It is part of my shirt. Keep it on. It will help you to keep your eyes closed for right now.”

Silvan sat down again next to her. He pulled her close to him once again and simply held her there. Her cheek brushed against his chest. She could feel his hand stroking through loose curls that had fallen from their bun. Serenity could also swear she heard a slight quiver in his breath. Her senses were alive and much stronger.
“Are you okay Silvan?”

“Yes. I am only worried for you right now.” He whispered. His arms barely shifted as he lay back against the head board. His head rested against a pillow there. He pulled her close to him to rest against him.”You will be okay my sweet.”

“I believe you.”

Serenity whispered. Her cheek caressed the smooth material of his shirt against his chest. Silvan smiled as he watched her. His fingers grasped a curl and brushed a finger through her silken tresses. Serenity moaned very softly in response to his gentle caresses. Silvan brought his other hand around and brushed against her back. The finger tips danced along the fine curves of her back.

“Silvan.” Serenity could not help but to gasp. Her back arched against the smooth touch. “Silvan I..” She was panting a little.

“Serenity.”

Her scent. Gods it drove him wild with desire. He pulled her closer and more into his lap. Her bottom brushed against his legs as he did. Serenity couldn’t take much more of this. She wanted to kiss him. She wanted to be with him. She seemed to even forget that she was blinded right now.

“Silvan I..love you.”

She gasped. Did she just say that to him! Silvan was just as surprised as her to hear it, or was it relieved? He always loved her. He had loved her from the very moment he laid eyes upon her. It didn’t matter if she could not ever see again. That would not change how he felt. His right hand slipped away and came up to cup just under her chin. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

“And I you, Serenity. “ He paused. Silvan was afraid to ask at first. “I..want to kiss you My lady. I need to kiss you. I feel my very breath will leave me if I do not feel your lips against mine soon.”

She whimpered softly. Serenity’s lips pressed against his. Silvan brought his left around and under her arm to pull her yet closer as they kissed. His breaths lingered over his lips. Her lips tasted so sweet to him. She was like a sugar to him. Again he pressed his lips to hers in a tussle of pent up passion and desire he struggled to keep from going any farther. He wanted to respect her above all else.

“Silvan..”

She breathed heavier. Serenity could feel the quickened pace of her hearts beating. Silvan turned to lay her head against the flat of the pillow on the bed. She felt his hand unwrap from around her for only a moment. Her back now rested against the bed side. Serenity could feel him laying next to her. He was leaning over her still. His hand was stroking her cheek lovingly.

“Just let me look at you. Just let me hold you my love.” Silvan let him self slide down and next to her. Serenity sighed happily when she once again felt him pull her so her cheek rested against his chest. She was now partially laying over the top of him with his arm around her.”I have wanted to hold you forever. It felt like an eternity alone when I was without your beauty before me. Every moment I spent away from you was a moment wasted my love. I wanted to bring you to me so many times before but I could not. I had to wait till you were eighteen. My father had made me promise to wait.”

“It is okay Silvan.” Serenity whispered to him. “You have me now. I am not a child anymore.”

“No. You are not a child. You are my sweet, beautiful Serenity whom I love with every fiber of my being. You are the woman I wish to call wife and my lady.”

“Wife...”

That had done it. Her heart tore from her chest and leapt into her throat. It did not stay there for long for it soon completely felt as if it pounded from her body and left her there, taking very quick, gasped breaths.

“Yes my love. My wife. I promise to make you my lady just as soon as we find out what has happened and fix it. I will not let anyone harm you my beloved angel.”

She whimpered to keep from crying. Serenity’s skin tingled from finger tip to bone. Could he have been any more perfect than he was right now? She had a piece of shirt tied around her head and she was blinded. Yet he still saw her. He still saw the Serenity he loved underneath all of this.

“Yes...yes, yes, yes..” Serenity could not say it enough. She moved her hand up along his chest and felt for his lips. She kissed him each time now after speaking it. “Yes..” she panted. “Yes a thousand times and more.”

“I think I like this reaction.”Silvan kissed her back each time and chuckled. “In fact I know I like this reaction.”

“Than there will be a million more where these came from.” Serenity whispered it to him softly.

“I eagerly await them my Shining star.” Silvan kissed her again. “My attention is yours to command.”

“You really don’t care if I may never be able to open my eyes again and see?”

“Your beauty comes from something much more than simple looks my love. Your soul burns brighter than the stars in the heavens. If you are blind than all that means is you need me even more to help you and to be there to guide you.” Silvan leaned forward and in a very forward move, he nibbled her ear lobe.” And my love believe me when I say that being beside you is the only place I want to ever be.”

“Silvan!” She gasped t the nibbles. Her cheeks turned a shade of very bright crimson and sent tiny tingles tickling her skin. It made her giggle. “You’re being very naughty.”

“Yes and you don’t seem to mind it one bit.”

“This is true.” Serenity chuckled. “This is very true.”

“Than my lady shouldn’t complain if I..”

He paused mid sentence on purpose. Quietly he shifted forward. Serenity blinked. If he what? She knew the answer to that quickly enough however. An ‘Oh!’ of surprise left her as she felt his lips kissing along the nape of her neck. They moved up slowly along her neck and than towards her ears. This sent a small shiver of pleasure down through her spine and made her moan to him.

“You’re being wickedly naughty.”

“Yes I am, but I will not now or EVER disrespect you. You are my heart. You are my soul. You compete me Serenity. ”

He nuzzled against the curve of her neck and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. Her arms found their way to his sides and held him just as close. The two lovers were bound together in loves eternal embrace.
