Chapter 10

Huh, turns out I have enough chapters written to last me till Sunday. Imagine that.

Itchan: Yeah, saw how that would be. I've written a lot of vampire stories, more than what's on this sight, and needed a bit of change of scene, know what i mean?

Kitaro: Jay reminds me of myself, too, actually. Not sure if that's a good thing...

Spoonring: Everyone. It's why Seth went into the bathroom with Jay. No one else was in there.

Surrealtraversity: Hm... every good demon deserves a pair of wings. And about the wing color? Uhuhuhuh...

Again, like I shall put on every chapter, thanks for the reviews!

I mean, fuck.

“What the fuck…?” I pushed Seth, and he finally moved away.

I tried going behind him, but he turned around, tucking his wings in.

“Stop moving.” I ordered, and he finally did.

I finally got behind him, and got a good look at them.

“Holy fuck.” I said.

“What do you think now?” Seth asked, sounding a little sad.

“Can I touch them?” I really really wanted to touch them.

“Why?” He turned his head to look back at me, and I gave him my trademark ‘duh’ look. In the end, he nodded, and my hands were instantly on his wings.

Fuck. He has wings.

I think you understand, but fuck. Do you have any idea how cool that is?

They were gray, they reminded me of bat wings. Leathery. Are bat wings leathery?

“Can you fly?” I asked. I had to know. I wonder how much he could carry, I mean, the damn things were huge. They wouldn’t even fit in the bathroom if they were spread out.

“Yeah?” He sounded like he thought I was stupid, but I mean, come on, chickens have wings, but they can only glide. And also live headless for a couple weeks. It’s true. All you have to do is but feed down it’s throat.

But yeah, penguins… ostriches… dodos… emus… peacocks… kiwis…

Did you know a kiwi was also someone who came from New Zealand? I feel so sorry for them…

“How much weight can you hold?” I really really wanted to fly.

“Why, do you want me to fly you around?” Fuck, I think he really can read minds. Nah, I doubt it. He’d either kill me or fuck me if he knew what I was thinking.

“Yes.” Seth turned around completely, looking confused.

“You’re… not scared?” He asked, and I gave him another of my trademark look.

“Why the fuck would I be scared? This is awesome!” That is, if I haven’t been drugged, or passed out or something.

“Aren’t you scared of anything?” He looked a little pissed again. What, does he have like, two emotions? Better not, because that means not lust, which means pleasurable sex for only one. Wait, is lust an emotion? I think so…

“Spiders. You‘re not like, a spider demon, are you? Or snake? …Clown?” Seth gave me a WTF look, before sighing.

“No.” He answered after a moment.

“Good. Lets get out of here then.” This place smelled too. And it was cold. The café was warmer, and I was still freezing.

“Hold on.” I had a thought, he couldn’t just go out in public with wings, could he? That means he had to put them away.

I wanted to watch. Seth looked confused, probably cause I was staring at him really hard, but eventually he just shook his head, and began to put his wings back.

And what I mean by put his wings back, I mean they just disappeared.

“What the fuck?” I asked. God damn it, I wanted to see something horrific or something. Damn, this was anticlimactic, if it could be used in this context. And, whether it could be or not, I’m not changing it.

“What?” He asked, putting his shirt on, but I just shook my head and glared, before heading out of the bathroom.

Damn, I still wished he had fucked me. Don’t care if he can read my mind. All the better, I’d say. Then at least I wouldn’t have to talk anymore. Get whatever fucking answer he wanted from my head, which probably wouldn’t be much.

You know what? Never mind. Besides, some of my thoughts might turn him off if we ever got… intimate.

I got back to the booth, and Seth joined me pretty quickly. It was quiet, he sat there, hands clasped in front of him, head down, like he was praying or concentrating. I opted for concentrating, because he doesn’t seem the praying sort.

“Why?” He asked suddenly, scaring the shit out of me.

“What?” I asked. What the fuck does he want me to answer, if he doesn’t actually say what the hell he’s talking about?

“Why aren’t you scared?” It was like he was grasping at straws or something. I never figured out exactly where that came from. Jeez, half the time I say pulling at strings.

“Why the hell should I be scared?” If we haven’t figured this out already, then I’ll say it again. Seth. Is. Awesome. I wish I was a demon…

I would fly, everywhere.

I’d dump water on people, that’d be fun. Or yogurt, and make them think I was a bird. I really need to get him to fly me around somewhere…

“Because of what I am,” Seth resorted to hissing again. I thought for a moment.

“No?” Okay, now I’m getting a little annoyed. “So what, are you like, a succubus or something?”

And now I’m getting another WTF look.

“Don’t you mean incubus?”

“What the fucks an incubus?” I really had no clue.

“Male equivalent of a succubus,” he answered, like he didn’t have to think about it.

“Then…”

“A succubus is a sex demon.” Oh, that explained a lot.

“So are you a succubus?” I asked again.

“Incubus.”

“You’re an incubus?” He’s a sex demon? No wonder…

“No.” Fuck.

“Then what?” Seth sighed, before leaning back.

“There isn’t really a certain kind of demon. We don’t label each other. Every family is different. Might be similar, but still different.” Oh.

“So is Greggy- Gregory like you?” I had a feeling Seth wouldn’t be happy if I used my nickname for Greggy.

“Yeah.” Wait, he said every family is different, and he and Seth looked a lot a like so…

“Is he like, into incest or something?” Again, WTF, pointed right my way.

“No. We aren’t related.”

“But I thought you said…”

“Some of us are similar.”

“Oh… He’s weird.” I couldn’t help but say, getting a roll of the eyes from Seth.

“You don’t know the guy enough to say what he is.” I would’ve thought Seth was defending him, but something was just nagging in the back of my mind that he was just saying that for my sake.

“I know he’s a molester.” I looked out the window, which I had just noticed was there.

“What?” Seth asked quietly, and when I looked back at him, his face was funny. I mean, he started looking angrier and angrier by the second, like he was thinking of something that mad him madder and madder by the second.

“You deaf or something?” I snorted. Fuck, I wish.

“What’d… what did he do?” Something that I’d like you to do to me. I raised in eyebrow. “Did he touch you?”

Eyebrow still raised. And then eyes closed quickly and body about five feet in the air when he scares the shit out of me when he slams his hand on the table again.

FUCK, I don’t like it when that happens.

“What?” I asked, but I didn’t get an answer. Of course, how could I get one from an empty seat?

The bell over the door in the café rang, and I was pretty sure that Seth just left, cause no one came in, and I’m pretty sure no one else left.

I quickly got up, and followed after him, finding him rounding a corner just up ahead.

I had to fucking run to catch up with him. I already ran three times today, why again?

I’m fucking tired.

I’m getting hypothermia, I just know it. I’m going to have Blue sue him if I die.

But, I’d have to call her first.

Damn Seth walks fast.

I caught up with him, only to have to jog to stay caught up with him.

“Where the fuck are you going?”

Oh my god. What Seth was saying was true? Holy fuck.

“You got a fucking demon after me?” I practically yelled out, and Seth turned around.

“Keep your mouth shut!” He looked around, but everyone that was on the sidewalk had just ignored us.

“Don’t fucking tell me to be quiet. You got me into this, and you are going to pay.” Oh yeah, I’m pissed. Seth looked surprised.

I turned around, and stomped off. We’d gone past the park, and I was going back there.

After a while, I found out that Seth was following slowly behind me, hands in pockets, face to the ground, looking dejected and making me feel fucking guilty.

But no, I wasn’t going to let him off the hook this easily. No matter how sad that look he’s giving me right now is.

I stopped, and soon he was standing beside me, before walking again.

“I mean it though,” and I do. I was going to make him pay somehow. Maybe with his body? No, I think that only works if he bottomed. Besides, it’s not pay if he gets off from it too.

“I’m really sorry about this.” He said after a minute, but I just shook my head.

“You should be. I mean, I fucking bit the guy.” Fuck. What the fuck was he going to do to me now?

“You… bit him?” Seth said after a moment, looking confused.

“Yeah. Well else should I have done?” Seriously, the guy’s a demon, and he’s fucking strong.

“I’m going to fucking kill him.” Seth muttered. Ooooh. Dark.

“You gonna tell me why we’re running then?” I asked. Just because I knew that they were both demons, didn’t mean I was going to stay with Seth. He looked at me for a moment, before sitting down, since we’d just arrived at the park, and I sat down beside him. After checking to make sure there was not bird shit, of course.

“He wanted to mate, and I rejected him. He followed me around after that, thought that I might change my mind. He thought I was with you, and now he’s after you.”

“What’s he going do to me after he gets me?” Ignoring the fact that he already got me once.

“Probably kill you, or use you as ransom.” Fun and… fun.

“Thanks. A lot.” I couldn’t help but say. Damn, now I feel like pouting and looking dejected. Seth didn’t say anything to that. We were both quiet for a moment. Did I mention that it had stopped raining? Around the time I was in the café, apparently.

“So, aren’t you going to ask?”

“Ask what?” I’m pretty sure that I got everything that was important out of the way, other than what I’m going to do.

“If I’m gay or not.” He stated, and I think I just got whiplash, from turning my neck so quickly so I could look at him.

“Where… the hell did that come from?” I asked.

“You seriously didn’t even think about it?”

“What do you mean,” Fuck, of course I did. I hoped for it.

“I mean, with the whole mating with another male thing. I‘m gay.”

“What would I care?” Did he think I was homophobic? Sorry, I’m not afraid of myself. I pity the homophobe/sexuals. That is one hell of a chaotic relationship.

“You really don’t care?” Seth looked a cross of desperate and dejected.

“Why should I?” God I hope he isn‘t just yanking my chain. If he was, I was going to go to that tree over there and bash my head in. It might not have the exact same effect as a brick wall, and I might end up with a few splinters, but I think I can manage.

“Because, I might just try and do something to you, if you’re not careful.”

Geeehhh.
