Ach 'm cara

AN: Right, this is the last update before I go on holiday. Two weeks. So there wont be one until after the 8th of August. Lots of time to review *grin*. Lol anyway have a good hol all of you who have them, to those of you who have to work, don't do it to hard. Take care. Toodles.

...................................................................

Cortax was sure something was up. He strode through the palace, it seemed that every time he entered a room, whispered conversations would stop and everyone had these frustrating sly grins on their faces. He had to remember to mention the fact to his father that once they had the Taur Nihl Kingdom; they would have to attack the Elvin Kingdom and get these stupid pointy eared idiots under control.

For the third time this morning he entered the main hall and saw Ainu standing at the end of it talking to a man pointing out different fabrics to him. He strode over.

“What are you doing Ainu?”

“Oh…Cortax…um I…was….just…”

“Just what?” He glared suspiciously at his fiancée.

“Oh I was just choosing some material for a new table cloth, you mentioned that you don’t have any table clothes and I really adore table clothes and they have such nice material here and I thought why not have some table clothes made so our table looks pretty.”

“Somehow Ainu I don’t believe you’re story what were you really doing?” Ainu’s eyes flicked nervously which made Cortax even more suspicious. Then Ainu bend forward in a conspiritory whisper and said,

“I was choosing material for father’s underwear; he’s never been able to do it himself. He wants to look especially good when he meets your father; you know what our traditions dictate.” Cortax’s mouth dropped open as he stared after a quickly retreating Ainu. Something funny however was definitely up…had Ainu’s tunic looked a bit wider then usual today?

……………………………………………………….

The elves had gathered beneath the stars to watch the joining of one of their own to the young Prince of Taur Nihl. They had gathered in a small glade in the nearby wood during the full height of the moon. Syrus was dressed in the traditional silver greys of the elven husband, his eyes sparkled at he waited for Ainu to arrive. The path that he would walk down was strewn with white orchids and was lit by gently flickering candles. Syrus was nervous, he couldn’t believe that he was going to marry his sweet little angel, he hoped he would come up to expectations.

“Are you nervous Ainu?”

“Yes father, terrified.” He was drawn into the warm embrace of his father, soon he would be married and then the warm embrace of his husband would be there to comfort him.

“You are looking beautiful, white suits you.” Ainu was wearing white breeches with soft very light grey boots and a long white tunic embroidered with beautiful intricate patterns, the tailors really had done an amazing job. His hair was woven plainly into a silver and golden spun circled that sat on his brow. “Are you ready to go?”

“Yes father.” He linked his arm into his fathers and they walked slowly towards the path that would lead him to Syrus. Soft voices raised in song followed them as they slowly made their way towards the front. Ainu had insisted on a wedding in elven style, to honour his new family. Syrus bowed deeply before King Apol and accepted Ainu’s hand his heart racing. His love looked so beautiful. They stepped forward, the elder who was holding the wedding smiled beneficially at them.

Both princes dropped to their knees and lowered their heads. On each head was placed a hand, and the respective father’s stood behind their sons. The singing never stopped as the elder raised his voice to ask the gods to show blessing for this union. The stars seemed to shine more brightly and it seemed to those present that a beam of moonlight touched each of the couples’ heads in turn.

The elder smiled. “Do you Prince Cyrus of Tira Dahn promise to love and to secure Prince Ainu, to respect him, treat him as your one and only heart and soul? Do you promise to aid him in the raising of your children, to teach them values and the culture of your people?”

“I promise all that and everything that I can give.” The elder moved onto Ainu and placed a hand onto his head.

“Do you Prince Ainu of Taur Nihl promise to love and respect Prince Syrus, to be his equal, to stand by his side in good and bad times? Do you promise to keep his heart secured in times of need? Do you promise to bear his children and to raise them together so they learn from both of you?”

“I promise this and more.”

“Then let the bands be exchanged.” King Apol and King Sinui held out the wedding bands to both princes. They were intricate armbands which bore the symbols of both princes entwined with each other. The angel’s wing and the sun had been carefully crafted in silver and gold. Syrus picked up the one that held the sun as more prominent and slid it onto Ainu’s arm, the light magic that had been crafted into it, made the band curl and form perfectly around Ainu’s lower arm, the symbols underneath. Ainu did the same for Syrus, just that this time the angel’s wing was more prominent. They clasped hands and stood up. In unison they spoke the words, that would bind their hearts together.

“Ach 'm cara , 'm enaid , 'm asgre. Addawa at cara 'ch. 'm asgre ydy eiddo.” And Syrus added. “Chofleidia 'ch hud fel petai 'm addef.” A light blue light shot out of Ainu’s hands and soon surrounded the whole couple. They glowed lightly for a while and then the blue light faded away.

“You are now bound to each other. You may now kiss your husband,” which they did rather passionately. There would be no big festivities, but a few flutes started playing so that there could at least be dancing. Ainu did not remember a time in his life when he had been happier as he was wrapped and spun around in the arms of his husband.

……………………………………………………………………………..

Another three weeks saw everyone gathered at the breakfast table one morning. Cortax was still nursing his broken arm, it had been broken when Syrus snapped it during Cortax’s attack on Ainu. Syrus was desperately trying to control himself to refrain from touching Ainu every single minute that he was close to him. Ainu for his part had grown quite a bit around the middle and was at that very moment tucking in happily to chocolate croissants, jams and anything sweet he could get his hands on.

“Ainu I think you should watch what you are eating, you have grown quite large.” Ainu’s eyes shot up to glare heatedly at Cortax.

“Are you saying I’m fat?!” Syrus winced at the screech.

“Yes thinking about it Ainu you have grown excessively fat, I do not want a fat bride when we marry.”

“You called me FAT!” The air cracked and Syrus decided to disappear beneath the table wisely.

“Now you’ve done it.” Came his voice from somewhere down below. Ainu was very touchy about his weight, just last night Syrus had made the mistake of pointing out to Ainu that they maybe should have new clothes made for him so he would feel more comfortable. Ainu had then screeched at him something ridiculous about the fact that Syrus found him fat and had proceeded to wreck the room and then to break down into loud sobs that Syrus didn’t find him attractive anymore. The pregnancy had turned his sweet little angel into an emotional wreck and a complete terror. Like the time he had send him running in the middle of the night to fetch some cucumbers and cream.

“Ainu I will not be spoken to in that way!”

“YOU CALLED ME FAT!” A blue flame flew past Cortax’s ear. “YOU SHRIVELED UP PIECE OF BEAR DUNG!” Balls of blue flame continued to bombard Cortax singeing off the remainder of his hair, his clothes and also a certain part of the man’s anatomy was now completely fried.

“WHEN WE’RE MARRIED YOU’LL BE SORRY!”

“I WON’T BE MARRYING YOU! I’VE ALREADY MARRIED AND I’M PREGNANT NOT FAT! AND YOU CAN GO JUMP OF THE NEAREST CLIFF! I AM NOT FAT!” A last blue fire ball hit Cortax right in the groin area and had him bending over in agony. Ainu, stomped out leaving a fried breakfast table and a completely shocked audience behind. Syrus hurried after his husband stopping on the way by the larder to get some chocolate for his love.

Cortax was in agony but he was also furious. He turned on King Apol.

“What does he mean he’s married?”

“He’s married to Syrus, he’s carrying his child.”

“You will regret this! I will have your head for this and your son’s and that pointed eared freak and…” He was stopped by a pair of large guards on either side of him. Glowering at all present. “You will pay for this humiliation.” The Elvin King gave a signal for the guards to rid them all of Cortax’s foul presence. He just hoped that not more of his castle would be damaged through his son in laws temper fits. He quite liked his castle the way it was, un-singed.

...............................................................

Reike: I'm sorry to say, that Cortax will still be causing trouble. Nasty man. But they area married now, and yes elven warriors. Big battle! Will be coming up later in the story. Take care! Hugs!

Aida: Yes there is more coming. So glad you liked it and bothered to review, thank's a lot. Hope you enjoy this chapter too. *Hugs*

Jay: Was burning it off alright for you? Lol, yeah! GO AINU; GO AINU!

Aki: Lol, ok if your male and hot, I'll marry you and tell you lots of stories. I hate it when internet goes down. I wont be able to be on for 2 weeks....eek no updating possible...I shall die. Enjoy this even more then. And no I'm not planning on ending this story soon.

Ari90: Everyone gets their just deserts, sooner or later. *hugs for reviewing.*

Laith: Hope you had a nice vacation sweety. You're going to have to be patient for the next update, because I shall be on vacation in good old england. I'm trying to make them seem really realistic, actually when I write them it usually is like their in my head and telling me what is happening or what they're doing (if that doesn't sound to schizophrenic). Ainu will have to get a lot more in around the kids, other then an afternoon romp...I predict there will be an arguement about the war and making up sex afterwards...yes good old making up sex. Now, enjoy this and make it last. It has to last you over 2 weeks.

Sandra: Here's more. Glad you love it. I love it too, its kinda easy to write. Ainu means angel, if you haven't guessed before. Anyway enjoy this, and keep reviewing...yes *nods* very important that.

Zelassi: I will have one, thanks. YOu've gone back to two word reviews *shakes head in disapointment* LOL at least your bothering. Hugs!
