Elemental Super Heroes!

Goldenna had watched the eight Elementals leave, and then walked over to their table, overjoyed at such a large tip in comparison to what they had bought. Then, she found the phone number.

“Elemental Super Heros...” Goldenna smiled, “Could it be that I just served a table of Super Heros?”

“Excuse me.” Two men sat in the next booth, they were sipping at their coffees.

“Yes, are you ready for me to take your orders?” Goldenna smiled.

“No, I was wondering if you could let us have a copy of that number, See, my friend and I want to work for the Elemental Super Heros as well.”

“Oh?” She looked at the man, who had long thick dark brown, almost black hair and solid black eyes. He wore all black too, so she had to ask, “What is your element?”

“Shadows, darkness mainly.” He said, pouring more coffee, “My name is Shadow.”

“And your friend?” she glanced over at the taller, thinner looking man.

“He is Shape Shifter, he can take on any elements abilities.” Shadow said, looking at Goldenna.

“I see... because I am sure they would love to meet you, they are hurting for members I’m sure.” Goldenna opened her small notepad and scribbled the number down. “Let them know. Call tomorrow morning if you can.”

“I want to see these outfits on you.” Storm told Flame, “Please?”

Wind agreed, “Yes... I want to see that outfit on you too.”

“Well, I’ll put mine on if you show me yours.” Flame smirked.

“Deal.” Both men said in unison before running to their rooms to change.

“You know what... I’m bushed, I’m just going to bed.” Ice yawned.

Leaf grabbed her arm, “Are you sure you are going to sleep?” He gave her a seductive look.

“Unless someone can give me an insintive to stay awake.” Ice grinned, walking to her room.

Earth and Flood suddenly dove for the television remote.

“I’M TURNING IT UP!” Flood screeched.

“NO ME!” Earth cried.

“Either of you do it, just hurry!” Bud said, “I don’t want to hear a single moan.”

Flame giggled and walked to the bathroom to change, “Now I see how they feel when Wind and I go at it... or maybe Storm and I... later.”

Inside the bedroom, half naked, Wind fell over, hearing that, “OH YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!”

Storm also heard that and laughed, “YES! IN YOUR FACE WIND WALKER!”

Wind growled, “...shuddaup...”

Soon, Storm came out of his room wearing his outfit, that showed off his nice chest and sculpted abs. It was a pair of silver boxer shorts with little storm clouds all over them. “I think I need a top.” He said, looking at the rain clouds.

“You look pretty.” Flame said, her blood red side strap dress fit her like a glove.

“...wow Flame.” Wind said behind them, he wore a full body sort of suit with ample area to hold his ‘goods.’ It was white and had tornados on it, but it was skin tight.

“You like Wind-ie poo?”

“Don’t call me Windy pooh.” Wind scowled.

“Ahhhhhhh why not, it’s a cute na...” Storm began, but was soon interrupted, “WHY IS THE TELEVISION SO LOUD!”

“BECAUSE LEAF AND ICE ARE TRYING TO BECOME INTIMATE!”

Ice opened the door and glared at Flame, “Thank you for that, now do you mind?” with that, she slammed the door.

Wind glanced back and forth between the door and Flame. Flame glanced between Storm and Wind, and Storm just glared at Wind.

Flame got an evil idea.

“Good Morning Leaf.” Earth said, eating his breakfast cereal, the last in the house.

“Morning Earth.”

“How’d you sleep? Or should I say, how’d Ice and you sleep?” Earth set the spoon down beside his bowl to take a drink of orange juice.

Leaf walked over and pushed Earth’s face into his cereal bowl and held it there a moment.

“Leaf, let him up.” Ice appeared in her robe to make coffee.

Leaf let the poor boy up, who had Sugar-O’s stuck to his face.

“What was that for?” Earth hissed.

“That was for prying into our sex lives.” Leaf said.

“Oh come on Leaf, we are all having sex in this household. Wind and Flame are banging each other, you and I, and Earth even occasionally gets some from Flood.”

“What about Bud?” Earth asked, “And Storm?”

About that time, Storm came walking into the kitchen in his silver boxer shorts.

“Morning.” Ice said, handing him a cup of coffee.

“Morning.” Storm said, smiling.

“Storms smiling.” Earth shuddered, “I’m afraid.”

“Don’t be scared Earth...” Storm said, stiring creamer and sugar into his coffee.

“He just got some.” Flame came walking into the kitchen, and like a trained little puppy, Storm handed over his coffee cup and went to get his own.

“Thank you Storm.” Flame smiled once he handed her the coffee.

“What? What about Wind?” Ice asked, just as Flood came stumbling into the kitchen.

“He got some too.” Flame said, “You know as well as I do that my sexual appetite is almost damned impossible for one man or woman to try and tame himself or herself.”

Wind came walking into the kitchen, a smile plastered on his face, “Morning...”

“Morning.”

“Morning.”

“Yo.”

“Morning.”

“No more coffee.” Storm smirked.

“Storm...” Wind grew irked, and grabbed the pot of coffee and poured himself a cup.

“Flame, you are something else...” Ice said.

“What? Mom always told me to share.” Flame smiled.

Flood opened the refrigerator. “Guys, we have no food in the entire house... save for about a drink of milk and an empty carton of orange juice...EARTH!” Flood turned around and saw that Earth was eating the last bites of food in the entire house.

“Guys, we have eggs and bread and coffee...” Ice said, “I’ll make french toast and then I’ll go shopping.”

Earth dropped his spoon in the bowl with a loud clatter, “Are... are you nuts? Every time someone goes grocery shopping...SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS!”

Leaf looked at Earth, “I’m bad? Ice met me when she went shopping the last time.”

Earth sighed, “But Flame was kidnaped last time, who knows what Dr. Cross will do now!”

“Then go to a different place to shop.” Leaf said, “And take two of us, no big deal.”

Flame smiled, “I’m waiting here, I can’t wait until Goldenna calls us.”

Storm smiled, “I’m staying with Flame.”

Wind scowled at Storm, “Oh, like I’m letting you stay with her by yourself...”

“What’s the matter Windy-poo?” Storm joked, “Don’t feel like sharing anymore?”

Wind grumbled, “...err...”

Flame smiled, “So, it’s settled... Earth, Leaf and Ice will go grocery shopping, Storm, Wind, Flood and myself will stay here.”

“Don’t forget about me,” Bud said, walking into the kitchen.

The group sat around the kitchen table, after Ice had made some really good french toast.

“That was good.” Earth said, “Is there anymore?”

“EARTH!” Flood sighed, “You ate four helpings, plus your cereal!”

“I’m still hungry.” Earth said.

“You are always hungry.” Storm sighed.

“I know.” Earth smiled.

Ice, Earth and Leaf drove the Elemental mobile to the nearest Super-Mart.

“Are we there yet?”

“No.”

“Are we there yet?”

“No.”

“Are we there yet?”

“No.”“Are we there yet?”

“No.”

“Are we there yet?”

“No.”

“Are we there yet?”

“No.”

“ENOUGH!” Ice roared at Earth, who was in the backseat, and Leaf, who was answering Earth’s repeated question. “We’re here.”

“Are we there yet?” Earth asked.

The trio walked into the store building, with Earth’s mouth frozen shut.

“First of all, I like to get some fresh fruits.” Ice said, taking a cart, “But we are going to need maybe two carts. I want to get enough food to last us a week.”

Meanwhile, at home.

The phone rang, and Flame jumped up off the couch to grab it, “Hello?”

“Hello, is this the Elemental Super Hero’s?” A male voice spoke.

“Ye...yes it is.”

“Yes, my name is Shadow of Darkness, and I was wondering if I could join the Elemental team.”

“Hmm... well, you are going to need to go through a trail, Mr. Darkness...”

“Please, please, call me Shadow.” Shadow spoke.

“Yes. Is it just you?” Flame asked.

“No, I have a friend, Shape Shifter. He’d like to try out as well.”

“I see... okay...” She thought for a few moments before answering, “Meet us at the old abandoned warehouse on the corner of Forth and Main next Tuesday at ten a.m. Do not be late.”

“Yes, and may I ask who I am talking to?” Shadow said.

“The leader, Flame Dancer.” Flame said, “I am hoping to meet you and Shifter soon.”

With that, Flame gave their regards and they hung up.

“And lettuce for tacos...” Ice said, picking up a nice head of lettuce. “And...apples...”

Leaf was making Earth push the cart.

Ice turned the corner to the cereal aisle, where most of the bad things happen in this story, and lo and behold... this time isn’t different.

There, at the end of the Aisle, stood Twig, Glaceria and Canyon.

“Who are they?” Earth said, his mouth having been defrosted.

“I don’t know, but it looks like they are waiting for us.” Ice whispered, “I wonder if they are Elementals.”

“They are...” Leaf said, “I can feel their powers from here... but something is different.”

Ice stopped and whispered, “Earth act like you are picking out cereals...” Then she looked at Leaf, “What do you mean?”

“They aren’t...on our side, their powers feel like those of Dr. Cross.” Leaf hissed.

“What? Cross has enlisted the help of Elementals?” Ice asked.

“How ironic, the powers he is trying to destroy is the ones he is using to destroy them with.” Earth said, picking up three boxes of ‘Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs’ with added peanut butter stars.

“Tell me about it...” Ice said, “Let’s go, I mean, if they follow us, we can leave.”

“We can’t go home.” Leaf said, “What if they follow us when we get out to the car?”

“Earth, give me your cell phone.” Ice said.

Flame sat on Storms lap as Wind went to the bathroom.

“Storm...”

“The phone’s ringing Flame, better get it.”

Flame jumped up and dove for the phone, “Hello?”

“Flame?”

“Ice! What are you doing???”

“I think Dr. Cross has drafted the help of Evil Elementals to help dispose of us.”

“WHAT?”

“There are three people following us around the grocery store, they look like their elements are ice, plant and earth... like us.”

“I don’t know what to do...” Flame said, shooting a worried glance at Wind, who just walked back into the room.

“I don’t know either, why do you think I am asking you!” Ice hissed. “We are going to come home soon, we are almost done shopping.”

“Okay... do you want me to stay on the cell phone with you?”

“Yes... if you could, we are checking out now.”

“How much food do you have?” Flame asked.

“Enough to get us by for at least four days...” Ice said as the group stood in line, “Oh Goddess... they are following us.” Ice hissed into the phone.

Soon, the group had paid for their groceries, and Ice got into the passenger seat after loading the groceries.

“Leaf.” Ice said, “Go the freeway, Earth, look out for them.”

Earth looked, “They are getting into a black sports car.”

“Keep your eyes open for that car at all costs Earth...” Leaf said, “It’s important.”

Flame asked Ice over the phone, “Take the freeway... try to lose them in traffic, then take the shortcut home.”

Ice nodded, “Yes, Leaf, take the freeway, try to lose them, then take the shortcut home.”

Leaf turned on the engine and nodded, “Got it, Earth, you are my lookout.”

Earth nodded, “I will do my best! I won’t let you down!”

Flame, on the other end of the phone, glanced at Storm and Wind, worried. “They are being followed by three possible ‘evil’ Elementals.”

“Great” Wind sighed.

“Wonderful” Storm growled, “Do they need help?”

“I am not sure, Ice...if you get cut off, I am going to come out looking for you guys using the Elemental Tracker.”

“That old thing?” Ice said, “That was used when it was just you, Wind and myself way back when. It’s got to have a million miles on it by now.”

“Yes, but it is a vehicle and we need to find you if you get cut off.”

“I understand.” Ice said as Leaf pulled onto the freeway.

“They are coming up fast on us Leaf...” Earth said.

“I see them.” Leaf said, changing lanes quickly, cutting off a semi in the process.

“LEAF! It won’t do you any good to escape from them if you kill us in the process...” Ice hissed.

“What’d he do?” Flame asked.

“He just cut off a semi to avoid the black sports ca...AH!”

“WHAT?” Flame yelled, “ICE?”

“They are rear ending us!” Ice screeched.

“Don’t stop Leaf!” Earth said, then he must have gotten an idea, “ICE! Use the Frozen Exhaust Attack!”

Ice nodded to Earth and looked around, “I...I think it may work...” Ice held up her hand to the car and whispered, “Frozen becomes the exhaust, so to stop those who intend us harm.”

The exhaust became a clear sheet of ice that covered the freeway behind them, causing the car that was in pursuit to have to steer clear and almost crash into slower moving traffic.

“Thanks Earth.” Ice said, “There’s our turn off...go Leaf.”

Inside the black sports car, Glaceria, Canyon and Twig were beyond angered.

“...this will be harder than we first thought.” Glaceria said.

“Yes... it will be, but we will still destroy them as our orders state.” Twig hissed.

“Soon. Did you put the tracking device in their food cart?” Canyon asked Twig.

“I did.” Glaceria smiled.

“Excellent...” Twig said.
