Kingdom Born
I’m at it again! I have discovered another one of my novels and I’m editing it for the net. It was started in 1988 and completed in 1993 and has sat on my floppy doing nothing. This is pre-“Xena-Warrior Princess” so I think the rejection letters I got put me off trying to send it out again.
My chapters are long, so I am editing things down to a manageable read per session.
What you need to know:
The Goddess has lead the people out of the long Winter. The many began to rebuild but what was lost was lost and would remain so. Soon the bearers of life began to out number the bearers of seed. Those remaining men were fought for, protected and cherished. A new society began with simple laws

DO NOT KILL UNJUSTLY
RESPECT THE GODDESS MOTHER'S PHYSICAL FORM
HONOUR YOUR ELDERS
PROTECT THE WEAK
OFFER ISSUES TO THE LAND
SHOW NO MERCY TO THE DISBELIEVERS
But as with the old society, gold speaks and when women listen to that seductive whisper; anarchy follows.
