Well I can see that duel ending well. NOT! Leven is a idiot not just for going up against Caine but when Edie finds out before or after she ain't going to be happy.

Aleah and Mark together at last. :) I do hope Levan meets some one nice who will hold his heart fully he deserves that, don't get me wrong Edie is nice and all but she loves 2 men and I think one more the the other. :D Levan needs some one who will love him 100% and not look back "what if". I doubt both Cain and Levan like sharing.... well not unless the 2 of them like a threesome. ;) LOL!

Amazing chapters, and finally a nice plot development: Verity getting killed (YAY).

Also glad to see that she does still love Lavan, not just Cain. Still stand by my preference for the Edie/Lavan happy ending, though.

Nice stuff between Mark and Aleah too, which also goes to show just how hateful part of Cain's personality still is (though I can't believe ANYONE, was worried Cain was becoming too nice. Silly Mark)

i actually meant aleah and mark. it was my birthday yesterday and reading last nite's chapter was a treat indeed! please, please continue with the two of them!!

I am glad Aleah and Mark will get together. I was wondering when Verity would strike again I actually thought that perhaps she would go to one of Cain's enemys and try to get back at him that way.

I was so excited to see a update. Seriously I am hooked on this story. Its kinda obvious that Edie has more of a thing for Cain then Levan just look at her behavior in those 5 weeks prior, she had Levan there and didn't do anything with him. I vote Edie/Cain.

I have to admit I'm proud of Cain going to see Edie, and what a cliffhanger! Cain and Lavan are face to face. I wonder how the confrontation will go. Please update soon, because, to be honest I'm anxious to read what happens next.

She must be so confused, especially with the baby, I really sympathize. Although I do hope she and the baby end up with Lavan, no matter how cliche some might think it.

I love the way you've written Lavan, his realistic (and understandable) anger when he learned of their night together, his slight insensitivity when she was reluctant to leave her kitchen all balanced out by how much he loves her and his overall great guy quality, and I loved the tender moment when he vowed to stay with her despite everything. I think he's going to explode after he sees that kiss, and I hope that (perfectly understandable) reaction doesn't push her towards Cain, even temporarily.

Cain still seems to be way too evil for my tastes, he doesn't seem to regret his actions for their own sake, rather he regrets hurting Edie. Even here, I love how human and multi-dimensional your characters are. Even Cain, one of my least favorite characters OF ALL TIME isn't pure evil (about 99% evil, but still not 100% evil. maybe).

Once again, amazing chapter.
