I can't believe you did that! What Lavan did was cowardly and he definitely doesn't deserve Edie. :(

I freaked rather badly when I read this chapter. I had been reading it on an i-touch though, so I wasn't logged in and couldn't review. I only started reading this story about a week ago anyway, but I ended up really into it. I was hoping rather badly for Edie to choose Cain, but that sudden twist was just so dramatic. (It also makes me want to punch a fictional character in the face) I felt so bad. I really hope Edie can find happiness. And perhaps eventually I'll start pronouncing her name right when I think of her. I keep saying Eddie, instead if Eedie. I hope the last chapter comes soon. I can't wait to read it.

Personally, I feel that whats happening to Lavan is unrealistic in the extreme, he's a good man, a kind man and a gentle man. Everyone, even the best of us, has darkness in them, but it seems really out of character and I hope you snap him out of it before bad things happen.

As for Edie, she may be trying to spare their feelings but the result is torment for both Lavan and Cain, especially Lavan. It's a horrible feeling when no matter how hard you try, no matter how "good" you are, no matter how much you love someone you feel your second best.

No matter what happens, though, even if you eventually kill him, could you return Lavan to the light side because dying in darkness is a fate I don't think he deserves.

Preferably, I'd like to see Edie/Lavan, but if you are set on Cain/Edie (NOOOOOO), how about Lavan/Tonisha? She's about the only one who truly appreciates him and she's also a good person, plus I think she has some feelings for him (although she's understandabley worried about what he's becoming).

Still. This story is amazing. But I do honestly feel that making Lavan go evil would ruin the whole story for me.

I was reading your other reviews about who they would prefer Caine or Lavan but not all things are black and white. If Edie can forgive Cain then so can they. It's your story well done. :D

Oh great chapter. Edie has forgiven Cain, now Cain just needs to show Edie how sorry he is. I see Lavan as being irrational, as in instigating a fight. I'm hoping that Cain will talk sense into him, and that Edie will finally choose between the two.

Lavan is such a sweet guy and has well good intentions, sorta but he is a idiot either way he will loose Edie if he keeps it up. But the rostering bit between Lavan and Caine is fun. Men! LOL! Update soon, I need to know what is next. :D
