Calom sure is a handful. Elliot will never get bored with such a challenging mate. I am happy that the babies were born okay. I wonder how long the pack will put up with Midge's bullying behavior towards Calom. She should definitely be showing more respect towards him.

as usual, your chapters are intense. I was actually anxious while reading this chapter, since I was constantly expecting Eliot and Calom to become an item and every time they got closer to each other someone interfered. THANKS ELIOT for finally taking matters into your own hands!!!! *happy*

I was hoping I could read something nice this weekend, to distract myself from upcoming tests.
you have the perfect timing! liked the chapter, especially the fact that hearing someone say 'it's not your fault' doesn't make you automatically believe it and change your mind. it's a gradual process and in your story it is reflected. Midge and Cal take their time :) and, in the meantime, I get to enjoy their stubborn side a bit more.

I see we are nearing the action between cal and Elliot!! Can't wait for more!!!!

thanks for mentioning me, it made me really happy. I don't always review, but I do follow this story with great interest. :D

I liked this chapter, but at times it felt a bit rushed. I don't mind when nothing important happens in an apdate, I consider it a progress nonetheless, even if it's centered solely on the interactions between the characters.
and there was a part I really liked, it was when Cal and Elliot were in the car, returning to their hotel room. I think it had an intimate atmosphere as they understood each other with few words and the silence that followed was by no means awkward, it was filled with their (shared) thoughts and felt completely natural. Also I really really loved how you put this paragraph down "... but there was always someone who would be more suspicious than the rest..." I just could imagine curious neighbours taking note of their every move. creepy, but true. there's always someone who doesn't mind his own bussness.
Midge's character also began to take shape in this chapter. I have this part stuck in my mind where she 'stares at Cal wiwh hard eyes' instead of just 'glaring' at him: that simple gesture said it all. but I feel like you rushed a bit the her interaction with Russell: the dialogue was somehow impersonal. maybe it's just me.

if you need, take your time for the next chapter. as much as I wish you to update soon, I also understand if you have things like school/work/family that absorb your time and energy at the moment. so forget about selfish readers (because readers ARE selfish ... we never consider that those who write might have their own ups and downs and real like broblems.. we just wait for the next update to immerse ourselves again in the fantasy world ;) ) and let your imagination flow!
