Aww, I'm glad she's home now too! ^_^ Hopefully her being there will bring back stuff -- like that sailboat picture that she seemed to recall immediately. Maggie, though, I have a feeling will fuck things up for Mel and Ellie in the future because she's a skdjaskdjasfjabitch. Not that she's going to stop me from reading this further. ;)

Well, wow. This story has me bouncing back and forth on who to think of as the protagonist. I think I'm just gonna root for Ellie. Good story, but reading about Maggie makes me seethe with anger and Mel is starting to worry me, depending on what she does about knowing Ellie was leaving. Keep it up!

The story so far is very interesting and I see a lot of potential for future chapters. The mother-in-law is a very interesting character and I want to see more background history of her hatred. Also there were some visible grammatical mistakes but I could somewhat understand and follow along. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for your master plan for the couple.
