Lucas has had such a sorrowful life until Brian. It's good that he had Brian to help him find love and to help him save himself. I, like Lucas, wonder how he will make it. I really like this story and can't wait for the next chapter.

The funeral is going to be really tough for Lucas especially when he is in such a depressed state. I hope he will remember that Brian would want him to live. It seems that Lucas would be a lot happier if he could let go of his fears about his family. I was just watching some CNN report about teens who kill themselves because of bullying and of course I thought about Lucas. I hope he will be able to make a new life for himself.

Thanks for the new chapter. It looks like Lucas is becoming really attached to James. I don't know how Erin will respond to that. It makes me wonder if James had liked Lucas from before Brian's death. It seems like he is quite willing to take Brian's place. Very interesting story.

I am enjoying this story. I was excited to see you were an English major sharing your writing. It's a really good story and definitely has my interest. The story, albeit rather heart breaking, is a good story. In the beginning I was slightly confused and had to re-read it because it didn't come across as first person. But after re-reading the first chapter I caught on. Thank you for sharing this story and I look forward to see where it goes.
