Well, this made me cry like a little girl. I still loved it though. Very angsty satisfying. I hope there is more coming!

I'm really enjoying this story. You are definitely an awesome storyteller. Through out this story we are learning more about Lucas and how he is learning to cope with life. It's great to read about his journey! Love the updates!!! Can't wait for the next update...looking forward to it!

Poor Lucas had to stay in that horrible home for three years. I wish he could have left and moved in with Brian. My thought when I read this chapter was that it must have been very emotionally crippling to suffer abuse and to be unable to help yourself end it. I wonder if Brian was aware of all the abuse going on. I feel that Lucas should have his revenge on his father. He should be carved into small pieces and fed to the fishes. Or beaten to death. You made me think such violent thoughts. I think you did a good job of portraying the doctor's reaction. He finally found the iceberg that is Lucas emotional state. I am so eager to read the next chapter. Keep up the good work

I wonder what else James and Brian talked about before he died. I wonder if Brian knew that James like Lucas...and did they talk about if something happened to Brian would he be ok if James started dating Lucas. Great chapter!

Chapter 13 was very touching with the video from Brian. He must have realized how badly Lucas would take it if anything bad ever happened to him. Lucas has so many emotional problems but it seems like James is not so super stable either. I guess the question is whether James is taking care of Lucas because of his feelings for him or if he is just doing it because Brian asked him to. My guess is that if James is just watching over Lucas for Brian's sake, the stress mignt be too much for him to bear. Plus there is poor Erin waiting in the wings. Such an intrigue. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Great chapter. Lucas actually did try to kill himself again. I hope Brian's parents really will be there for him because he is going to need a lot of help. Plus James must be in shock. I am looking forward to the next chapter.

Good chapter. I like your writing style very much. I've seen some grammatical errors in some of the chapters. Most of it seems to come from spell check but there are a few times when you forget to add a word. Just thought I would let you know if you want to go back and look over/edit it.
