This story is one of the few that when I see an update, I stop everything and have to read it. I really liked this chapter because it seemed to build a foundation for Basil's recovery. I was glad to see a rift form between Scott and Basil; Roden hit the nail on the head when he alluded that Scott was far from perfect and should have realized what's going on. It seems that Scott's perfect little world has been shattered by what happened to Basil; his overprotectiveness seems his way of trying to absolve himself of the guilt. What I don't understand is his attraction to his younger brother. He's obviously confused and seems jealous that Ken got to sample something that should be forbidden to him. Something a hero-worshipping Basil would have gladly given up if Scott had even bothered to look his way.

Lol, while I'm not opposed to a little incest, I still favor the Basil/Roden pairing!

Err, another thought... I would love to see more revealed about Scott. He seems to have some issues of his own and it would be interesting for Basil to see underneath all the 'splendor', Scott isn't much different (different interest yes, but with fears/desires). Did he and Ken have some sort of relationship that went beyond friendship? How did Scott find out about what was happening unless Ken told him?

I bealive this is a good story. I just started to read it yesterday and hooked me up on the first chapter, Your characters are well developed and the story is consistent. There's only one thing that is bothering me, though. Why did Ken tell Scott about him raping Basil?

Hah, Scott is being an asshole. I know that he might be jealous of Roden or an adverse effect of finding himself almost kissing Basil, but that gives him no right to accuse Basil of bringing the rape on himself. -_-; Gosh, Scott is pissing me off right now. Poor Basil.....

Yay- another update! Great to see you're back. I was beginning to miss Basil. Gah- I just wanted to hit Scott for what he said XP Looking forward to the next update!!

i'v read the whole chapter from 1 - 14,poor basil been abused by his parents and bother by neglet for i don't now how long for, basil never been loved by his parents and how the story goes on i think basil really craved to be loved by his family, he's shyness and lack of commacation to others, what really surprised me that he's teacher did'nt notice how he acts around others because he withdrawn himself from making friends, no offence the only time someone showed him love was he's rappest ken, he's mom is so heartless just caring about scott she should be more worried about basil then him, i think basil should go and live with his grandmother and dovice he's parents some thing like that.
lv the story so far can't wait for chapter 15.
