Nice twist! I can't wait to see where you're going with this. The exposition is nice and smooth, too. You packed a lot of information into this chapter without making it seem clunky or dull.

Ah, and now the plot thickens!
Very enjoyable chapter despite dear Edwyn(I think I spelled his name right) being in agony from being whipped. I doubt Aravath put much power into whipping the poor guy. *grins*

well i agree with his story.
in fact i agree with everything he has to say.

i wish your ch were longer but if oyu keep updating twice a week it would be more bearable.
these are only my wishes,of course.
and even though i hate to see anyone sufffer it is necessary for the plot.
that long waiting period till they realize their feelings and act accordingly with them.

Oh my gosh! Thanks for the quick update. This story is so fascinating and I am totally hooked. I hope that Aravath doesn't hurt Edwyn's younger brother. I was sure Edwyn would hold out on giving the names of the other two gatekeepers but now that his little brother has been captured I doubt it. Why does Aravath have such hatred for the people of Welythia? Please let this story have happy ending. Thank you for continuing and I anxiously await next chapter.
