After reading all the chapters of this I can say you inspired me. I believe you have a lot of wise ideas and since your story "Cake" has been sold I will look forward to obtaining a copy for myself. Sorry if all this seems like useless information. (laughs) Just want you to know I think your stories rock!

You write neat letters :) They didn't actually answer the question about having your manuscript, but I assume that they've got it. The letter looks like a standard letter mailed to all authors. It will definitely take them some time to get things flowing. The sites are being rewamped now, it seems.

I would like a hard copy of Cake no matter who you publish with :D As long as the binding is good, hehe!

I really like your stuff. I think you are as mad as a cut snake (in a good way lol)....but I love reading your stuff. I think I like your personal rant/journal thing the best. I like it that you write it as though you are sitting at the pub, talking (fast!) over a stiff Little Creatures Ale, sometimes I want to buy you a carton and get you smashed so you can kixx back a bit :P....especially in August. But I have a question and I know it could be stupid...but why Yaoi? Your whole universe is so involved and complete in it's detail. It has everything you could ever want in a story, murder, betrayal, angst, romance, the smut (yeah lots of that is always a good thing) but I can't help think that you could be limiting your avenues by specifically making it yaoi. I hope that doesn't come across wrong. I wouldn't have a clue about publishing or anything else for that matter, Im just a wow geek, but seriously, your gear is so good...I can't figure out why it hasn't been snapped up already... anyway, disregard this question if its just completely ridiculous. As I said, I have no idea about the publishing process.

Anyway, I hope your publishing woes pan out, I wouldn't pay for yaoi, but I would pay for your work, definitely.

Azrael... werewolf or lycan... well, the whole puppy thing is going to be cute! I think it should be Az's power alone. He deserves his own powers/purpose. But he still should be a vamp, because he kicks ass as a vamp. Maybe he can keep some of his vamp tendencies, while he starts to prefer using lycan traits. So, what's the difference between a lycan and a werewolf anyway? Can a werewolf run the lycan nation? Will he turn it over to Ping, because the brothers have enough to deal with already? Don't you dare split him and Marcus up! If he needs to have a lycan mate, ...you know what... don't even go there! =p

yes! that would be so cool! to have Az as wolf w/ wings! you totally have to! okay, I don't know how you'd reconcile that, but you totally have to!

For some reason, I can't figure yet, I'm not able to log into the forum, but I will give you my two (Euro-)Cents anyway. I think Azrael must stay Vampire and Lycan. He has been born as a vampire (with a suppressed were-filling). He had the Blue Line gifts from day one with the exception of the healing light and I now think he had to miss this special gift because if he had it, he would have burned Britta's 'poison' out of his system before he turned into a Lycan. Why not becoming a were? Because Britta was THE LYCAN and her bite must be exceptionally in the result if she and everybody she could have aiding her wasn't able to remove the mages spell, that is locking the were within the brothers. Plus, the brothers have been bitten countless times by strong Lycan (Ping, Kiyoshi) - a bite alone is apparently not enough to release the were-blood. Apart from that I deem it neccessary that Az-wolf can change at will, so he must be a Lycan. On to the next question: should he still be a vampire? HEll, yes. Marcus needs a vampire as a partner. He might be into kink stuff, but sodomie? Eeek. He shouldn't have to wait until Az finds a way to turn back into a humanoid form and Az already told you that he still was a vampire - he turned back, dropped his fangs and drank blood - and that he didn't in the Lycan way.

So I come to the result Az-wolf is a Vampire and a Lycan - he anyhow is neither the common way; he is Hashmalliam as much as his brothers.

I beg you don't take the vampire from Azrael - the brothers have enough drama in life, they don't need a version of 'Ladyhawke'

Why does it have to be just Az?

If Sex was the first one to be bitten, It would make sense to me that all the brothers have the abilities that a werewolf or lycan has but Az is the only one that can shift. It also doesnt make sense for the brothers to be shut out. I think they should be connected like always but Az's duty is to rule over the Lycans as a lycan. X's duty is to rule over Von D as a Vamp. Sex is to rule over his own emotions and whatnot as first. Skell gots big H to deal with. It would give each brother a purpose and all that good stuff.

The other three would be werewolves with the extra senses and Az would be the lycan.
