Dear Kiix,
it's actually sounding nice but nonetheless a rejection. That's sad but you have a group of devoted readers here and I admit once again to be glad, the C-trilogy will not be removed from AFF anytime soon. The majority of the AFF-stories (+ the hit-count) shows clearly where the interests of readers lie. I, as someone who followed the C-trilogy from the first chapter, absolutely don't agree with the explanation:
quote, 'Regretfully, we don't feel your story is right for us at this time. Though Vampire books are selling very well, we have found that our reader base will not accept books with excessive rape scenes and brutality.' unquote.
As nicely as put, the first sentence states more or minder clearly, that it is NOT an issue of brutality. It's an issue of what's considered political correctness. Unfortunately it will take time for walls to tumble, especially with all the debating about media-influence but I firmly believe, there exist publishers, realizing the value behind your story and publishing it. If I was only wealthy enough, I would.
Sending a virtual hug together with a mug of coffee,
K

Hy Kiix,
Here is another one of my stupid questions. Maybe you already adressed it but I can't find an answer:
What happens if a blue, like the brothers, turns a human into a vampire? Will the fledging become a blue or can only humans, that are hidden blues become blue vampires and what would have Claudius become, if a blue instead of Katrina had turned him? He is a blue-gene-carrier but that doesn't necessarily mean the gene grows active, when bitten from a blue.
Your story is like a drug. It makes me think about many things containing the C-universe. For a long time, I haven't come about a story that absorbing. You are an awesome writer and I wish you luck in everything!

Wow. *whistles* That's amazing. I didn't realize the stuff about the names. It's quite interesting, really.
"Armanita – I just made that up." For a second, I thought that was the meaning of her name, before I smartened up and realized what you meant. Wow, I feel a little stupid. But then, I laughed at myself. Eh, no harm done.
Britta's pack is east of the Rockies? So that means the Brothers and such should be there too. Hmm, that sort of answers my question about where this is set in. Good! (I'm thinking Canada though.. haha)
Oh, and did you mean the 'Black Plague' (aka Black Death)? I think you wrote it as Black Plaque.
You're an amazing writer. Keep it up!

Is it bad that I like how jealous and protective Sex gets when it comes to Claudius? It's a little sad, but too cute.

So you consider burning Hades not as fair fighting? I'm glad to read this, because it makes me think the boys will never do this unless the shit Hades sometimes puts up hits the fan. I've been Hades-fraction ever since the beginning. While Sex is a fire cracker, Hades is a powder keg. I love how you changed his behavior in interaction with Liam. He has so many facets now. He wouldn't surprise me runing off sulking after one of Liam's asshole-moves towards the brothers and coming back with a new boy-toy. Just to prove a point; of course kille the boy toy without second thought, the moment Liam asks, if he finally got the stick out of his ass. The ancients-dynamic remembers me of Akihito and Asami from Yamane Ayano's 'Loveprize in viewfinder'. Even though I lately start liking Liam - which surprises the hell out of me - I still want to know why you make the brothers acting comparatively tame towards him. He's pulled more shit than Hades ever ... o.k. raping Claudius is untopable (is that a word in English? My folks make it a nasty habit to create fake-English-words), so lets say Liam pulled as much shit as little shepherd boy. I mean he wanted to remerge the brothers! That's practically killing them. Plus, he is the initial course for Hades raping Claudius but even though, he seem to get away with it. Has he that striking sort of personality which makes it impossible to resist him? That question is really killing me, so it would be very, very nice of you, if you came up with an answer. If not, I'm anyway a devoted fan.

I'm sorry to bother again and I know I asked this before but why likes Claudius being called Sasha? I can live with it when it is because it sounds so damn sexy when Sex says it. When Clauius recalled his past before Katrina, he didn't boast about himself, in fact were rather harsh and that was the 'Sasha-time'. He grew and now makes a stunning comprehensive package. I expected him to prefer the name Claudius over Sasha.

.. Shit! I got that message about my copy of Windows not being genuine either. Shit, shit, shit, shit.. Yes, I'm done. Well, not really, but hell, nothing I can do about it now.
I'm glad you got your dog back. I can't even begin to think how terrible it would be if I lost my dog. He used to play 'Runaway' back when he was a puppy.. and I'd have to chase him around the neighbourhood, looking like an idiot. Actually, sometimes, I still have to chase him around the neighbourhood, looking like an idiot.
I'm also glad to hear that all your writings are safe. Yay for Jump drives! I have one too, though it's only 1 GB.
It never occurred to me that the scars could be healed with a bloodbath. See, I wasn't thinking of a solution. (Hell, that's why I asked instead) But I think your answer's logical. See, even when you screw up and forget about a tiny detail, you can still sound logical. Now that is true mastership. .. Er, kay, don't know why that came out.
Er, I'm not sure if I get what you mean for the answer to the whole Claudius/Mindfuck thing. I guess I should reword my question?:
Can all vampires read minds?
There. Even though X had a voice binding on him, he had clear thoughts, which meant Marcus/Armour could read his thoughts... but, I thought only M/A and the brothers had this talent. (Well, the ones that's mastered it?) If so, Claudius shouldn't be able to hear every single one of X's thoughts, if he can't read minds.. right? I'm not sure if this is what you meant in your answer - that all vampires could read people's minds lightly... Oh, this would lead to another part of that question:
In the beginning, Armor did the mindfuck thing to X, didn't he?
I thought Armor couldn't use that ability.. but he was able to do it to X, so intensely that he even forced him into a coma.. So.. what's up with this whole mind-reading vs. mind-fucking thing? What can normal vampires do, what can Claudius do, what can Armor do.. and what CAN'T they do?
.. I'm confusing you too, aren't I?

I'm just going around picking out little mistakes for you, aren't I? I just like the attention I get.. I admit it! I'm an attention whore, and you're feeding my fire. ... That sounds a bit naughty, doesn't it?
Ch. 17: After X comments on Claudius once being a libertine, Claudius: “That was when I was much, much younger. I over indulged on wine, blood, women and men and everything other vice that could be named. It gets old after a while.” I'm not sure if you meant sex when he mentioned 'women and men' but if so... I thought Hades was Claudius' first male fuck. But then, I might just be misunderstanding that line... though I think libertine means someone that fucks around.
