Hmmm, well guess who it is? lol
I promise to keep this short.
As much as he doesn't know the feels wouldn't he at least try and get the sexming on with Lanny. Then stop and go "i don't know what to do?" (he doesn't know how to love like Claudius didn't) get scared and talk to Claudius? They seem to have a lot in common.
Skell isn't meant for hallmark.: ) It is going to be funny watching him tease Skell.
Also ha almost everyone! Skell could have had a chance to win the fight. Yes not very good but it was there!

I love you for adding up this journal - it is an excellent opportunity for bugging you with all the questions your characters create in my mind.
about the Sex and Skell:
Do you intent to remerge them? Not, that I would not love Skell but everytime you add a new and much welcomed chapter to Clove I get the feeling he is more of an abandoned part of Sex rather than a stand-alone 'fracture'. He was born out of Sex's despair and resembles all, that is distinctive Sex. His ambivalent feelings toward Claudius, his insecurities, the piano, even the 'Edward-problem'. It makes me think, that he can't come to terms neither with Claudius nor himself and the last seven years, if he doesn't welcome Skell back as a part of himself. It also seems a fitting solution to the several problems regarding the brother's being Hasmallim. Neither truly accepted being Hashmallim, so here seems the creation of Skell an easy solution to the internal struggle (the more, OW is to blame for the creation). The same goes for the time after the destruction-part of the prophecy. If Skell is granted a life in the brother's memories, he can rest in peace without spending a rather boring beach-time and still arise, when needed again; he would even fulfill his 'promise' to Kevin.
Endellion:
Than there is Endellion and she was surprisingly quiet, as if to ensure the rise of Hashmallim by the OW-treatment of the carrier. I still believe, a katana like her will in the end take a toll on the brothers other than the burden of guilt. She doesn't strike me as the sort of sword that is satisfied with a little bloodshed and a number of souls to devour. The lady-sword is stubborn and persuasive and treacherous but at the same time devoted, under certain circumstances. What is her purpose? It can't simply be to 'serve Hashmallim and base his throne on the skulls of his enemies' for that would end in itself and be rather circular. Well, light does only strike us as shining because of the dark and so I'm not really expecting her to know but to be honest, I would not be surprised, if she was born out of Liam. They resemble each other, being like two sides of the same coin. In that case, she might not be satisfied until she reunites with Liam or is back in his hands.
Finally, can Endellion undergo rituals of purification like any other katana and what happens to the souls, she devored? They are a kind of energy and as we all learned in physics - energy doesn't get lost.
Your writing keeps me on my toes like hardly a book, I read in the last years. I love your stories, just love them. Thank you very very much for sharing the results of your marvellous imagination with us!

Somehow I have a feeling you are going to change chapter 7 once more :D Not that I mind - this Vader idea is sooooooo cool :D (Dart Vader is number one in favorite semi-evil guys list ;D) .
While I miss the brothers, but Skell is great in his own kind of way. In evil and messed up kind of way :D
Anyway, I have a total trust in you - fo far Clove is my favorite book :D

Sorry i haven't posted in awhile. *Gives cookies*.
Maybe you can't work Skell out because he is not to tell you? Let the char move how he likes and he will tell you what he wants. I also would love to be a fly on the wall when he meets bloodhound.
I like Skell he has lots of room to move. Keep up the great work.

I personally love seeing all the changes you make. Not only does it offer more reading for me (and I swear, even your worst writing is absolutely fascinating to me), it's also interesting to see the changes you make.
I like the way you're going with this, and I understand the difficulty. Don't stress over it too much - we're always behind you, Loyal and true.

Chapter 19 "The Rise of Vader"
That explains it! Skell must be thee killer!
If your worried about the story, then I'm terrified!
I liked the first round but this third go round is
the best so far. I was dizzy for a bit but a few
re-reads was all it took to set me straight!
(Still miss Kevin, but, Skell must have pain
to make his character work.)Well, re-writes are
all apart of the biss! So I will leave you to it
and get back to my never ending homework.
Like your furry friends I'm glad your back!
Thanks,
R

Thanks for this.
It really does settle some stuff for us.. and the spoilers weren't as bad as I thought they would be.
I appreciate what you told us! (it makes us feel better)

I'd like to say you write very well, I love the Blood Emperor Series. Why dose it seem like everyone hates Marcus? I happen to be a really big fan for him, I'm sad he has lost his art, his music and his heart. I hope it doesn't stay that way.
