Great new chapter! I loved the fact that Ashi didn't know the difference between a waffle and a pancake. It really shows how far outside of normal society his life has been. And when Ashi walked down the staircase, dressed like a whore, and told Garnen that was what he was...that just broke my heart. So sad. I'm glad that Garnen didn't let him go off to face Carlos feeling so bleak. As for Lan, I'm not sure how I feel about him yet. I suppose it will depend on why he betrayed Ashi, and if he does anything to help him afterwards. With my own stories, I tend to favor bittersweet endings, but I know I'll be happy with any ending you feel is right, happy or sad.

As for dear old Sarah, no need to apologize. I wish she wouldn't bother you and Makaikitty, but I think she's hilarious. You should read the email she sent me. I haven't laughed so hard in weeks.

And damn it! Now I need to smack Ashi and Garnen for their after-sex angst! We all know Ashi loves Garnen. ^_^

But Lan... I'm so confused about how I should feel about him! My brain hurts... ;_;... I want to feel sorry for him, but I still have the thought that the whole "they made me do it" thing is an act! --bangs head on desk--

But just reading the last paragraph of this chapter... Oh my god! --falls over-- He had better not be hurt too badly...

It's kinda funny that your life is getting busy while mine is winding down. ^_^ Two final exams, one essay, and then winter break until January 17th!

As for that Sarah Bridget chick... If she had the guts to leave an email address, you can only imagine what a verbal ass-kicking I'd give her. ^_^ She's probably just some bored 12 year old that gets a high off trying to break the spirits of authors. But you're doing great in fending her off! And at least you know you have some allies. ^_~

Kay, going to have to pray Lan shot someone else, and Ashi fainted because of it... or something. Please don't tell me Ashi is dead. I will... cry. And cry. ;____;

Finally. Gawd, Garnen really has some serious restraint. I couldn't have resisted that bunny for nearly as long! Now we only need a happy ending to make this story complete. There will be one, won't there? *begs* Can't wait to see what the next update brings.

Oh, I just read the new review by that Sarah Bridget person. Wow, she really needs to get a life. Your story is repulsive, yet she's obviously read through fifteen chapters of it? And if she were really as holy as she seems to be claiming to be, then she would never use language like she did in that review. I think she's the one that's disgusting. You should report her to the AFF mods, although I doubt she had the guts to leave her real screen name.

You ended on a cliffhanger? No!!!!!!! I can't wait to see what happens next. I don't particularly hate Lan now, I feel kinda sorry for him. As for a sad ending? Please, don't do it *begs* I know how fun it can be to get all depressing, and sometimes a sad ending is better, but I still hope it doesn't end that way.

I like the story. Hee hee, I wasn't really planning to review, but then I saw your lovely flamer, and I just had to review. I think that your writing is very creative and holds a lot of potential. I would work a little bit on grammar and such, but that's just me! :oP I really do enjoy your characters and I'm always happy to see an update!

It really sucks that the site hiccupped and a lot was lost. ;_;... I think I might have been review #52...

But anyway... It's about freaking time! ^___^ I was ready to push them in a closet, lock the door, and crank up the air conditioning so they'd have to at least cuddle! Rain is always such a nice ice breaker. ^^

I liked the whole funeral speech. And then fluff and smut. ^^ Such a wonderful combination! And I can now finally see Garnen as the top. Though, now that they have finally had sex, Garnen is going to be a total ass and deny anything ever happened. ^_^; Unless Ashi has totally changed him. o_o...

*Swoons* I loved the new chapters, especially 15! The whole plot twist with Lan being held for ransom (or is he?) totally caught me off guard, and made for a very cool turn of events. When you described Ashi at the police station, unable to take his eyes off the videotape, I was so worried that I could hardly breathe. And then when Garnen says that he won't go to Ashi's funeral, because Ashi is NOT going to die -- that was so powerful and romantic. And so perfectly in character for Garnen. Then, the kiss, and the rain, and the sex...and the sex....and the sex. Fantastically hot.

My favorite description:

"The cool rivulets of fresh, clean water traveled over rapidly heating skin in mini-rivers, slipping giddily across locked lips, and giving each the occasional taste of sky as the rare few bits made it between them. Crystalline droplets gathered quickly, bunching like sparsely scattered dew across bubble-gum lashes, and weighing them down with the extra burden."

Such beautiful, poetic language. *Swoons again*

And it's set in Texas! That's so neat! We do occasionally get snow where I live (in Austin) so it wouldn't be impossible. Just unusual.

Now I can't wait to see how they deal with the morning after!
