Short isn't always a bad thing. Chapters have their own organic length -- they last as long as they need to. (You should read "As I Lay Dying" by William Faulkner. He has a chapter in it that's only one sentence long!) Anyway, as always, I really enjoyed this new part. Garnen and Ashi are so cute together. I loved Garnen's idea of "splitting" the chores by making Ashi cook toast and wash one soapy mug. And Ashi with that sausage, that was too funny! The news about the officer being killed casts a real shadow over their happiness, tho' -- and makes me terribly nervous about what's going to happen next. I'll be counting the days until your next post!

And what's this about a new story? *Looks hopeful*

Garnen's not kicking Ashi out of his bed... and Ashi's cleaning the kitchen... omg they're settling in. they're getting comfortable!! good lord, they're getting positively domestic! *giggle*

i love the way Ashi immediately seeks to eradicate the butterflies... i can SO relate. no more garnen/ashi? how...unfortunate. maybe we should start a campaign. i'll write the picket signs, and falcon and rin-rin can bring chocolate and cookies.... we'll have a good old fashioned sit-in. *grin*

Whoo-hoo....the third time I checked today (ok I am obsessed) chapter 21 was up! I love your characters. They are so believable and easy to relate to. I have never seen such chemistry between two written characters before. And the "being a rabbit" and "immortals" are just thrown in as an "oh, by the way...." type of thing so that they do not detract from the main plot. Yes, it has graphic slash. I have noticed, though, that you use even the sex scenes to further the story, not just for the sake of sex. I am truly enjoying this story and your storytelling abilities. There have been no fillers, slow moments, or paragraphs you feel you can skip without missing anything. Certain phrases will stay with me forever...."put down the gun and step away from the whore". That was priceless. When you finish this it is already guaranteed to leave my "stories I am following" folder to take its place in my "favorite stories" folder.

Hn, well, I've read all twenty chapters and I have to say, I've loved every single one of them.

The way you use sarcasm really gets me, and I really laughed a hell of a lot when reading this, which is unusual for me. One of my faves was when poor Garnen kept stumbling over himself in the office when the cheif caught them. [[First time]] Poor guy, I could so relate... and of course, can't forget the gender question, simply priceless.

I'm quite the one for a actual story as well, and yours is most certainly one of my personal favourites. Each and everyone one of your chapters give me exactly what I needed, and you give details so wonderfully. I really don't mind that it takes you a while to get to the smut, however, I love the scenes. Hn, I'll most certainly be looking forward to the next (If there is one.)

I really must say, Ashi and Garnen make the cutest damn couple ever. I'm waiting for them to say I love you to eachother. Roar, I'm considering getting my bat and wacking it out of them (It's a blow up bat =D) But, the lovey dovey sap things you have them say to eachother are so wonderful. "You're the first person I've ever met that's worth the effort" Gooood. I felt tears coming to my eyes.

Smut! Hurray! Actually, I enjoy long stretches of story between sex scenes. The plot twists, and the character development, serve to make the smut all that much more satisfying. And this certainly was some satisfying smut! When I finished reading this chapter, I noticed that my pjama top had gotten partially unbuttoned...somehow. Your vivid descriptions really brought everything to life. Especially Ashi and his adorable foot fetish. That really illustrated his innocent side, and I liked the way it allowed Garnen to seduce him -- to be his "first" in this particular regard. Needless to say, I'm eagerly awaiting the morning after angst!

Oh, and I believe I owe you an apology. I noticed in a comment you made to Rin-Chan that you're a "he". Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that at least one of my reviews repeatedly refers to you as "she". Sorry about that. At most of the online sites I've belonged to, the majority of the writers were women, and I just jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Yay! Smut! I didn't even really notice that there was so "little" sex in your story. O_o... I guess that just shows how damn good you are with the story aspect. ^_^

We find out that Ashi likes his feet to be played with, even if that little fact freaks him out a little. And it was just plain adorable when Garnen held Ashi's hand. ^_^

I don't have much else to say about this chapter other than damn... You do some great, descriptive sex scenes! ^_^

And as for angst... I'm a total angst whore (if you couldn't tell by my own stories). And I'm glad that little comment made you laugh. ^_~

New update! Hurray! Jacques was super-cool in this chapter. I especially loved this line: "Jacques spoke so fluently, like every word simply rolled off his tongue, and yet, behind it all, his accent held the barest, flickering inkling of some ancient language, almost as dark and enticing as the man himself." Vivid, and poetic, and VERY sexy. And the scene between Ashi and Garnen was wonderfully written -- Ashi trying to go back to just being a whore, and Garnen not letting him. That emotional rescue was more important than any physical aid Garnen could have offered during Ashi's escape from Carlos. It really brings their whole relationship to a new, even deeper level.

And that's the thing about couches, isn't it? They're very...couchish. LOL!

Whoo! Update! And Carlos got to feel what it's like to be used. --cackles-- I wonder what Jacques will do with him... And I wonder when Lan will be saved! But in the mean time, Carlos deserves every bit of abuse Jacques gives him. ^_^

Aww... Ashi had an angst moment! I like angst. ^_^ It usually leads to... Well... Angst induced sex. ^^; Hopefully. >_>...
