Wow.
I knew I should've waited until this fic was over before reading it. :( Now I still haven't gotten any work done, and I'm left hanging, waiting anxiously for the next chapter.
You write really really really well. :P I admit that, in the beginning, I wasn't thrilled at all to find how the children all hated each other, but as I read on and discovered their stories, I must say that you've twisted the plots very tastefully.
My heart goes out to Ashe, who seems to have been a victim since the time he was born, and as sick as it may seem, I do hope that he and Rhapsody end up getting along. No, I'm not condoning rape, but I feel very strongly for a boy who was betrayed by both his friends and family, albeit done unwittingly by the latter. Despite how twisted and angry he's become, I really can't bring myself to hate him, or to even feel an ounce of dislike for him. I hope that you can fix Fuji's family. I can only imagine how helpless and powerless she must be feeling, with everything spiraling out of control.
Rhapsody, well, Rhapsody is a victim. She seems to get the brunt of everyone's anger, of Ashe's jaded-ness, of Harmony's jealousy, of Devilin's bitterness, etc etc. I can't really tell what kind of a girl she really is at this point, except that she's been thrust into a very harsh reality at an age where she ought to be enjoying her innocense.
I'm glad that Bliss seems to have turned out alright. I'm glad that she and Nakago are on good terms, at least, and that Shai has found a real daughter in her. She seems to be a very loveable character, and I'm happy that her life is getting along okay, despite the occasional bumps.
Harmony... is a bitch. She deserves all the punishment in the world. I can't find a single iota of compassion for her, unfortunately, and they say that if you don't have anything good to say, you ought to keep your mouth shut, which is what I'm doing.
Shu and Sora, well, I honestly don't know what to make of them just yet, except that they're jerks. I hope Rhapsody sees that.
Waza, well, he hasn't really done anything other than be a very horny asshole. Mean, yes, but I can't help but feel that Yuna got herself into her situation. The girl's spineless, and she has to face the consequences of not saying no hard enough.
I don't really have much to say about Darrke, or Tiera, or Frost and Lilis, or any of the other characters. -_-;; Sorry 'bout that. :P But really, I can't wait for the next part of this story, and for every other part that comes after it. I got into your series late, but in a way, I'm glad, because at least I got to read the bulk of it in one go. :)
