Shukufuku Memeshii

To all of the people who are joining me for the first time, I’m glad you decided to stop by! I hope you enjoy this story, it will all be new to you, and I promise not to let you get that lost. To all of the people who are coming back again, welcome!! To you some of the elements may be the same, but I wanted to make sure all of my favorite characters got a spot in the story again.

This story, unlike the original School Girls’, takes place in America. This is the School Girls’ children, though their ages are out of sequence with the original story. To make them all high school age I had to play a little bit, and even then I could not do it, so these children are pretty spread out, but they are here, in their element once more.

Now, for those who are joining for the first time, or again, I made family trees a bit complicated, and so here is a bit of a refresher, with all the children.

Shai + Teiyoku = Shukufuku (half-brother of Waza, Harmony, and Darrke)

Kaori + Nakago = Bliss (raised by Shai)

Shai + Kyoei = Harmony, Darrke (halfsiblings of Shukufuku)

Noriko + Teiyoku = Waza (half-brother to Shukufuku, half-brother to Fuji)

Yuki + Shinwa = Tiera, Yuna, Link, Sora

Fuji + Amatsu = Rhapsody and Ashe

Chapter 1 – Shukufuku Memeshii

“What are you four doing down there?”

“Nothing!” called a chorus of four voices as they hurried to blow the smoke they were creating towards the fireplace. They were lucky it was a cold September day, and the fireplace was ready for use already. If not, they would have been caught for sure, but the four should have known better than to be smoking dope in Shai’s household.

The door to the basement opened and down stepped a beautiful figure, a woman reminiscent of her younger days. She had gained weight since she had stopped playing tennis, and her hair was never as perfectly cut as it had been in her younger days, but Shai Memeshii still cut a wonderful figure that turned the heads of many men. Most never realized how close she was to being in her forties.

The four teenagers sat on the couch, trying to look nonchalant while watching some old Kung Fu movie on television. The mixture of the four teenagers in the basement was a mixture of blood, but all the males were related in some way, while the female was only related due to adoption.

Shu, the oldest of the four, just graduated and going to community college, much to the chagrin of his mother, sat on the couch looking much like his mother with black hair and blue eyes, though his hair was styled in a way the kids called ‘punk’, he wore some kind of black eyeliner under his eyes, and he wore too little in clothing and too much in black leather jewelry. He was never what Shai had hoped him to be, and sometimes she wondered if it wasn’t the girl he was sitting too close to on the couch that had changed everything.

Bliss Memeshii was the spitting image of her parents, Kaori and Nakago Oshidori. She had long silken black hair and gray eyes that were more alive than the stone they looked to reflect. She had been adopted when she was just a baby, but Shai and Kyoei had thought it healthy to let her know she was adopted and that her parents loved her very much. What Bliss never really knew was that Nakago was her father; Bliss believed to this day Kaori and James Grant, the famous actor who retired just a few years ago, were her parents. She held a hope in her heart that they would come to find her, just so she could prove that they loved her. Bliss was grateful to Shai for raising her, though like all teenagers, especially seniors with the hope of college in the next coming year, she had a rebellious stage and had started dressing in black leather and vinyl like her older ‘brother’.

Darrke was the son of Shai and Kyoei, and had too much long black hair that constantly fell in his eyes with natural red highlights his little sister was jealous of. He was always dressing in jeans and T-shirts, never dressing up, but not as extreme as his older siblings. His eyes were the color of emerald, his jaw the chisel of stone, and his attitude that of nonchalance.

Waza was the last sibling down in that room, the half-brother of Shu, sharing a father with the college student. Noriko and Teiyoku had Waza, and did their best to raise him in the hopes of him joining his sister and his cousin in the business world, but Waza was far more interested in hanging with his half-sibling and his cousins than taking over a business world. Waza was the sandy-haired aquamarine eyed prep, without the preppy attitude.

“Don’t you guys want to go out and enjoy the weather before it turns completely cold?” Shai asked, stepping to the bottom of the stairs and eyeing the children suspiciously. She was not so dumb that she could not smell the plant they had been smoking just moments before, but she had run out of ways to address it with the group.

“It is cold,” Shu said, trying to pay particular attention to the television in front of him. “You just are used to your school where you had to play tennis outside all of the time.” Shai opened her mouth, ready to snap at her young son, but he held up a hand. “I know the story, my generation is weak, I should be studying, I should have been something more than this, I should have… whatever, Ma. Do you want to kick us out?”

Four pairs of young eyes turned towards Shai and she flushed. This was not how parenthood was supposed to turn out, it was supposed to be something magical. Shu was supposed to automatically know exactly what she had gone through to have him, what she had fought to keep him, and what sacrifices she made to be his mom. That right there should have bonded them together, but instead she was closer to the child that was not hers, Bliss.

“I’m so sorry for disturbing you,” she said scathingly. “I only wanted to make sure you weren’t wasting your day, but you seem to have everything perfectly under control. Please continue, don’t mind me, I’m going back upstairs to play the part of mother while you teenagers, who know everything, do your thing.” Shai stormed up the stairs, feeling like a teenager herself, slamming the door closed and leaving the children down in the basement.

For a moment there was an awkward silence, but it did not last long as Bliss suddenly started to cough and laugh at the same time. “I couldn’t hold that in much longer,” she said, smoking blowing out of her nose as she laughed. “That sucked.”

“She’ll get over it,” Shu shrugged, finding the joint he had hid under the couch and hoping that he had not left a burn mark in its place. “She gets like that about once a month.”

“Wow, that’s harsh to say about your mom,” Waza laughed through the smoke that was once more filling the basement.

“Yeah it is,” Darrke said darkly. “Mom’s just worried your fucking up your life.”

“Too bad she doesn’t know how much,” Shu laughed, leaning over Bliss so he could grab her ass. She let out a little squeal and pushed his hand away.

“No way,” she cried happily. “Not while Mom is upstairs.”

“Kind of sucks,” Waza said, watching the two flirt. “You live in the same house as your girlfriend and yet the two of you can’t be together.”

“Shhh,” Bliss said, waving a hand in front of their faces. “Don’t mention the G word in front of Shu. He’ll get all freaky. Besides, I think he has a side interest in someone else, I’m just a piece of ass.”

Shu pulled one of the pillows off of the couch and threw it at Bliss’s face, softly, but enough to put his point across. “Shut up, that isn’t true,” he growled. “I mean, yeah, you’re a nice piece of ass, but you know my heart belongs to no one.”

“See what I mean,” Bliss pointed out, pointing a long black manicured nail at his chest. “He’s so callous.”

“That’s what happens when you have Tennison blood,” Waza pointed out. “Look what he did to poor Shai, and then he left my mom quite quickly a few years ago for an even younger girl, apparently one of his flings baby-sister. She’s the same age as Shu.”

“I’m so proud of my father,” Shu rolled his eyes. “I’m so very glad that he is my creator.”

“Well, if he wasn’t, you wouldn’t be who you are,” Darrke pointed out, sitting up and dying out the joint he had been smoking. “Where the fuck is Harmony, anyway?”

“Don’t have enough pot to get you through the night?” Bliss asked, leaning back into Shu’s arms.

Darrke rolled his eyes. “Not it,” he grumbled. “She’s been spending time with Sora Kiseki lately, and I think he’s a shit and I hope she gets away from him soon.”

“Someone has a little sister fetish,” Shu laughed.

“Look who’s talking,” Darrke grumbled furiously. He glanced over at Shu and Bliss, who both had the courteous for a moment to look guilty.

“She just needs a friend right now,” Bliss offered. “It was hard for her after Ashe-”

“Let’s not talk about Ashe,” Darrke growled. “That relationship is worst than your relationship with Shu. They were actually blood related.”

“Cousins,” Waza pointed out blandly. “They may have been kissing cousins, but… it’s only half-blood cousins anyway since your mom’s didn’t share the same sister.”

“I think we should stop talking about Ashe all together,” Shu suddenly snapped. His eyes darkened and his pulse strengthened. Everyone glanced his way and felt the urge to scoot a few cushions back from him. “It’s still too…” He left it at that. He was right, he need not say it. It was still too painful. Unlike their friends and family, Fuji and Amatsu Inperiaru always wanted a close knit family, a boy and a girl, to carry on their legacy, even though their boy was more of a wild man like his father once had been, where the daughter was ready to take over the family business at fourteen. However, one horrible accident broke that perfect family, leaving a gaping hole where a piece used to sit.

Darrke suddenly leaned forward, killing the blunt before throwing it in the fireplace to erupt and send little whirls of marijuana smoke throughout the room. “I’m done for the evening,” he growled, then stomped upstairs, caring little if his mom saw him with blood red eyes.

“What a killer to the mood,” Waza said, coughing a bit around his smoke. He sat up straight and looked down at himself. “I better get going myself, before my mom starts huffing and puffing that I’m not home. Besides, I need to go buy another bottle of cologne to cover the smell.”

“It would take more than that to cover your smell,” Shu laughed, pulling Bliss closer to him now that it was only Waza left with them. “I mean, you always smell like ass anyway, because you are one.”

“You know, for a college student, you are so immature sometimes,” Bliss joked with him, watching Waza stand from the couch.

Waza shrugged his shoulders, not too affected by Bliss and Shu’s mannerisms. If anything he was used to their play acting by now. Shu, the tough eldest brother of the family, acting like an ass to protect everyone, and Bliss, the grateful adopted daughter. To Waza they were all a bunch of liars, just like himself, but what did he care? They helped get him high, which helped him deal with his mother, and in turn his father when he went to visit him.

“I’ll see you guys at school tomorrow,” Waza said casually, giving them a wave before walking towards the stairs.

“Alone at least!” Shu said, throwing his arms around Bliss before Waza had fully even closed the door, his hands automatically sliding up her shirt and groping at her breasts and nipples roughly.
“The way you treat me, you would think you were a virgin,” Bliss pointed out, though her face flushed and her body roared as his hands moved over her generous proportions.

Shu bit the back of Bliss’s neck, leaving a small mark no one would notice later, but she would feel for days. “Sweetie, because of you, I still am,” he grumbled into her neck. “I am probably the only nineteen-year-old male virgin left on the planet.”

“Good for your ego,” Bliss grumbled, Shu’s hands moving harder against her breasts, causing her to tighten her legs in anticipation. “The house is too full for us to do it here, I told you, one day, when you move out, I will do you on the floor of your new apartment.”

Shu licked Bliss up her spine before releasing her and standing. Much to her chagrin he did not show the obvious evidence of wanting her, which could be scary for two completely different reasons. He either did not want her as much as she wanted him, or… he was… petite?

“Well until then, my dear sister,” Shu said mockingly, giving her a fake bow, “I leave you to your dreams. I have night class.” And like all of the men in her life he turned and left her alone. With a loud sigh Bliss fell back on the couch and wished to God she had found someone besides her older brother to fall in love with, for her heart remained with him, though his remained with him as well.
