This reminds me of one of my (one of many) romance books. Something I read once had the story of two people who know each other in dreams and can only spend time in their dreams; when they wake up, they know what happened but cannot find the person, thinking it was only in dreams. They eventually find each other somehow (searching and such). But this poem reminded me of that a whole lot! Actually, the poem wasn't that bad at all, but rather short and point-driven. It's good, believe me.
