Reviewing chapter 15, this story just gets sadder. I feel that Mark and Joanne had done the right thing. I think Jake, Eve, and their mother are too dependent on their father that’s why they didn’t want to do anything about his abuse. It’s nice to read how supportive and caring Joanne’s mother and father are. You’re right it’s complicated because I can see where both sides are coming from. Thanks for updating.

this story get more sad as it goes.....*swallow hard* ...just...good job like always! i was so waiting for this chapter! hmmm i have something to ask... how come jake & eve\'s mother doen\'t do a thing??? it\'s kinda hard to believe a mother won\'t do anything for her kids...

I\'m driving myself (not to mention Foamyfan15010) crazy obsessing about this story. I was so excited when she told me you\'d updated I actually thought about skipping out on a few hours of work to race home to read. And, I don\'t cry, but this chapter made me sniffle. Why can\'t he just listen to his heart? Has he never heard the saying? I\'m obsessed. I\'ll go now before I go into a rant/ramble thing. But I love it, still!

I think that I can guess that Jake and Eve get killed by their father or something along those lines, they were driving and died in a car accident. It might be cool to have them be in the witness protection program because of their father. It would give them a happy ending if Jake came back to Joanna. I think that you are really a talented writer and I enjoy reading this story. Keep up the good work!

GREAT chapter! ^_^ Good for Joanne and Mark, I\'m glad they finally told someone. I have this sad feeling that Jake and Joanne, and Mark and Eve, may not get back together again, that something tragic is going to happen. I think I\'ve said that before...but with every chapter the feeling just grows stronger. This story seems much darker, more moody (not in a bad way ^_^), than your other stories. But I love it. I\'m excited -and a little scared ^_^- to see what you have in store for these characters.
