Darkness Spreads
Darkness spreads
Like a shadow at sunset
Covering all
No thought for race, colour, creed
A spreading stain of all humanity
Darkness spreads
Like a stain on white cloth
Polluting all it touches
Removing innocence no matter of age
An absence of light, of good
Darkness spreads
Like a black hole swallowing the stars
Deceiving minds
Taking all that is not made for ownership
Creating a nothingness
Darkness spreads
Like a plague of corruption
Betraying all that trust
Seducing those who don’t, to a grave of pestilence and famine
Leading all to temptation of the soul
