Waiting (Slowly Dying Circles)

Shadows move slowly across the withered landscape,
Held proudly towards the dying sun, the hope seems bleak at best
Starving, hurting, deep inside
Waiting for the end
Castles built of temporary laughter delude fortune\'s wit
Milk and honey upon thy tongue becomes vinager at a touch
Of dust upon the parched throats
Of slowly dying circles
Standing among the perishing expectations of innocent eyes in wonder
Sighing earth, in agony old, weeping tears of passion
Reaching out for hands that bleed
Waiting for the finish
