Sea Waves

THE SEA

The waves cascade and swirl,

Like my dreams,

In constant motion.

Shape shifting, never the same.

I smile, because this is how it should be.

Here as I watch the sea,

It seems that time has stopped.

I know that when I leave

Time will continue, forever.

Just like the sea.
