Blood Kingdom Vampires

AN: This is my Vampire Story. It will get Bloody & gorey just give it time it is getting warmed up. Everyone & everything in this story belongs to me so please enjoy.

You know it's funny how you can remember what happened but the days escape you. back then my name was Aceius Leons. I was a merchant or shop owner. I sold all types of things. Produce, died meats, Blankets we made. That type of thing. I always worked late till dusk to get as much money as possible for the goods. That is how I met her. Her name was & is Roseline. Her skin was darker than the norm of people more of a tan color. Her eyes were a ice or Crystal blue that i was captured in the first time i seen them. We were talk as the night neared wearing a hat & small vale that blocked the sun from her eyes. She told me she was a Princess but refused to marry until her heart told her to. She was strong willed & didn't need a husband to take care of her & I believed her. Her Attitude was unlike any woman I met at the time.
One night while I was closing up way later then usual a Bandit jumped me from the shadows. He wrestled for my money bag which i refused to give up. Maybe I should have but then I wouldn't have this story to tell. He pulled a knife plunging it into my gut. I remember the pain then the next thing I was on the ground & there was Roseline throwing the guy around like a stuffed doll. She then bit into his neck tearing his throat out. She then walked to me with a look of concern on her face. At the time I wasn't sure what I was seeing because I was bleeding bad & partly in & out of it. She leaned down & I thought I saw her face change then a pain in my neck that matched the pain in my Stomach then I passed out.
I awoken in a bed in a room I've never been in. I felt sluggish & my head was killing me. I really couldn't tell if I dreamed the night before or not. I looked down to my stomach there was no knife wound. Then I heard Roseline voice. "Your awake good. I thought I was too late for a moment there. You lost a lot of blood." I looked around & saw her enter the room. "What happened? I had a horrid nightmare last night I don’t even remember how I got here." She smiled sitting on the side of the bed & stroked my cheek. "Last night wasn't a dream you were attacked. You were stabbed & like I said lost a lot of blood. I'm glad I was close enough to save you"
I slowly got out of the bed & go to a mirror. Nothing seemed out of place then I noticed my eyes. Instead of their normal green they were the same ice blue as Roseline's. I turned around & she was right behind me. I didn't even see her get up from the bed when I was looking in the mirror. She put her hands on my shoulders. "Let me Explain some things to you my dear." I slowly sat down so she could talk. With the events that happened the night before, The no wounds, color change of my eyes & her speed to be right next to me I felt dizzy anyway. It all spun in my head so fast I couldn't think so listening was good.
"You see I am a vampire. That might seem strange since you seen me in the sun. But sunlight doesn't kill us. It does make us weak though unless we cover our eyes." She sighed a bit & continued to explain. "You were dying & I could not allow that to happen so I changed you as well." I had gotten angry by the fact she changed me into a blood drinking thing I couldn't help but yell. "YOU CHANGED ME INTO A MONSTER!? I WAS BETTER OF LEFT TO DIE IN THE STREET!" She moved faster than I could blink & had me up against the wall. My feet were a few inched off the ground. Anger filled her eyes mixed with hurt. Her face changed into one more monster like. her eyes turning from blue to gold. "I wanted to save you. I care enough about you to give you something better then to die at the hands of a coward too stupid to work for his own coin!" she let me go & I saw her hands were different too her nails were sharp black claws. She turned from me & continued to speak. "Just because humans see us as monsters that is no reason for us to prove them right."
I sat on the floor taking in all she told me. Until she changed me it was just her & her fellow clan (or as Vampires call it Family) member Dragos. After I thought it over some I decided to stay. I had become fond of Roseline during our many talks before finding out what she was. So why should that change now. I was taught all I was needed to know as a vampire. The rules set down by the Elders. The house rules Roseline enforced & how to use my new powers. Some of which felt weird such as shifting from human to vampiric form. I could feel the bone & flesh in my face & hands move & change. Changing into a Bat & mist was fun.
Our Bat form is that of a Vampire bat but our size is that of a Flying fox. One evening when I was out with my Queen I heard a mob of people yelling & against Roseline's Advice I checked it out. I was glad I did. My sister Casandra was in trouble. She was always head strong & like Roseline didn't need anyone especially a man to tell her what to do or take care of her. Apparently that got her accused of being a witch by a noble man she made feel like a fool. I saw them tie my sister to a stake & light the wood around her feet on fire. I would not let her suffer because of some assholes hurt pride. I shifted into Mist form sneaking through the people & up among the smoke then returned to my Vampiric form. My golden eyes scanned the shocked people as I ripped the bands from my sister & sped away with her.
I took her back to Roseline's house. She was mad at me but then her face softened. "I can't blame you for protecting family. It is one of the most important things we must rely on each other with". Casandra never would have a normal life anyway not that she was thought to be a witch saved by a vamp so the four of us decided to change her into one of us. Casandra & Roseline had me do it I was taught how & then ended my little sister's mortal life. We moved to a different area where none of us were known & me & my sister took on our Vampire names Casandra was now Willow & I was Lion a play on our last name. Some time later we added another who called herself Serenity to the family & that is how it stayed for a couple hundred years.
