A Single Tear

A single tear stains the cold marble cheek of a girl that was once alive.

Where now she is dead, a halo of blood around her head, people, her family, will tread to look upon her glass saddened hues.

Hues that would never again shine with life.

Why did she do it?

How did she do it?

For whom did she do it?

Those questions and more will come from family and friends.

But those that saw her first will always remember her cold marble face, her glass saddened eyes, her pale rose lips.

And most of all they’ll remember the single tear that still clung to her once rosy now cold marble cheek.
