An unexpected mating,
An unexpected mating,
This is a story my friend and I are writing together. We have quite a bit written write now so there'll be plenty of chapters up at first. We would really like it also if u could leave a comment on what your thoughts are on it constructive critism is welcomed by the both of us.
Lana heard the screams from her hiding spot her mother had shoved her into. She was still a young girl only about 17 when the massacre began. She could here loud voices but was unable to make them out as she cried silent tears when she heard her mothers scream. Then she noticed it somebody was sniffing extremely close to her hiding spot and fear filled her. She knew she had been caught and it was only a matter of time before they found her and most likely slaughtered her like her kin.
Auric smelled a vampire female near-by, it's stale blood creating a horrid effect on his stomach, and he growled low. he couldn't wait for this war to end and be done with it, though he only saw this happening with the decimation of the vampire leaders. He semi reverted from wolf to a wolfman form, mostly wolf by looks, though now able to stand like a man, and shifted the rubble from the crack the vampire was hiding in. The girl was cute, and though his instincts told him to kill her now, his orders were attack, not kill, and he figured enough death was happening around him...a prisoner could be helpful. He toward over her, and could tell from her fear that she wasn't very trained in combat....she was barely an adult.
Lana looked up at the werewolf in fear. She had never seen one, only been told stories of them. Her entire body shaked as more tears streamed down her face. She curled into the fetal position hoping he would over look her. She had no clue how to fight properly either so she couldnt defend herself even if she had to. The only thing she had going for her was strength and even that wouldnt help her against somebody who knew how to fight.
He reached down and grabbed her roughly by the arm, forgetting to measure his strength down, not able to control his half shift well from lack of use, and jerked her painfully to her feet. He had seen some of his men chasing what looked like a family away from here, so he was a bit surprised to find this one, and he dragged her away, taking her off the battle feild to where only he could find her later.
Lana dug her heals in as she was being dragged. "Let me go!"
In this form all he could manage was a deep growl, but the sound alone carried a sence of dominating authority that made even the strongest wolf under is command, and most of the ones that weren't, quiver with fear and submission, the growl that carried him to being one of the Alphas only below his leader and second in command. his eyes were black, engulfed in the heat of battle and overshadowed by sheer instintcs. This girl was his prize, he had to hide her till he could get back to her after the battle. He dragged her to the forest, searching for the thick vines this area was known for when they left the small village they had sneak attacked, knowing that the vines, which were infused with special minerals from the earth, could hold a vampire warrior with no problems, so this girl wouldn't be an issue.
Lana looked at where they were going and heard her mothers warning in her head. "Never ever go in there Lana." Her mother told her countless times. She followed helplessly though behind the werewolf.
The werewolf tied her up in the forest and went to finish up in the battle.
Lana tried to struggle against the vines but they just held her tighter. She found all she could do was lay and wait for him to come back and see what happened from there. She hated being helpless.
Auric ran into battle, his blood boiling hot, all his power bubbling up. His men backed off as he finished things up, having given in to the carnal urge to rend flesh and taste blood that he normally resisted. As the wolf in him fought, he found himself enjoying the heat of the blood covering him at the end of the battle. All this while, the vampire girl had heard the death wails of her kin, till it finally stopped and the air went still, a sure sign of the death around her.
