Fall From Grace
I need you my friend, my addiction. I have stayed away from you for so long My pride standing in the way of the relief you selflessly gave My skin calling for your swift touch once more How I crave your sharp teeth that glisten in the dim light How the blood trapped within my veins yearns to be released The cries of their longing are deafening to my mind Drowning out all reason and rationality The stability of of my psyche ever dwindling The lucidity of my perception rapidly blurring The internal war that wages within me growing stronger The dark thoughts of my torment rising up with new force Your soft voice calls out to me sweetly It resonates deep within my aching heart So soothing, so melodic I can deny your silver tongue no more
