Prologue
I live in a world where some people are born with a special power and some are not. The people that are born with this special gift are called the Selected. These gifts can range from control over the elements to telepathy. Over the past couple of decades, the Norms (people without a power) have begun to accept us and we have begun to be able to normally live together in a peaceful environment. This is not to say that all people are still accepting, because they’re not, but with time anything can happen and hopefully it’s for the best. My family is one of the first families to have a selected and we have a long history full of elementals. Because of this, each generation has been blessed to have control over an element/s and telepathy. My sister and I are special for we have control over the four basic elements and our powers grow every day. My family, regardless of our powers, lives a normal life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Welcome to our life. -Sky A/N - Welcome to Beyond Normal!
