Make Love Not War: Dragon Fire

Prologue
“One thousand years ago, humans built ships and left the Earth to explore the universe. They built colonies, and forged new friendships and treaties with alien races that they discovered on their travels. One of these ships was caught in a wormhole which transported it billions of light years away. With no way to get home the colonists wandered space for many years until they discovered a planet much like earth that they called Gaea. The planet was inhabited by a human like race called the Aborigines who had rejected technology long ago and believed in their own natural sciences and mystical spirits called Espers that kept them safe. These indigenous people allowed the colonists to land their great ship and build settlements on the unpopulated northern continent of the planet which they named Midgard.

The settlements became towns and cities and the two races became great friends and allies for hundreds of years. The partnership prospered trading food and supplies. But generations later this friendship and generosity was forgotten. The colonists’ settlements were thriving and getting bigger and bigger advancing their technology as they grew and the borders of the two peoples were starting to become close and tense. The colonists in the border towns reported strange goings on, strange lights in the sky which the Aborigines denied. The Technologists, a group of colonists who rose to become the leaders of Midgard began to mistrust the Aborigines and discovered that they had been keeping a secret from them for all that time: That their spirits, the Espers that they believed protected them were very much real, that they bestowed upon their subjects magical powers and if prayed to intensely, they would appear and use their powers against the enemies of the Aborigines.

The Technologists were scared and built a great army called the Ceylons and unleashed an unprovoked pre-emptive strike on the Aborigines. The peaceful indigenous population were no match for them. So advanced was the colonists’ technology that they created any magic shields and a great light barrier at the border between their two nations so that even the Aborigines great magic’s and Espers could not help them and soon they were overrun and had no choice but to surrender.”
