A/N Okay I have gone back and redid this since I didn't like it the way I first wrote it. Please try to ignore some of the mistakes since I am without a beta. I try to catch as much as I can but I am only human. Also I will try to have chapters as soon as possible but with work and cons I don't know how many updates I can make. Well enjoy the story and please do not steal it.



Prologue

The year was 2010 and the human race was slowly dying away. They were dying from their own filth that was in the air. The human race had reverted back to that of middle ages. Demons and Vampires had full control over the humans now. There were times when young teens would go missing although the demons didn't think much of it since they figured at least they died young. Since their were demons and the such there were those who would slay them for the humans that didn't want them in their land. Most of the united states was now split into different areas. The hunters lived in the north while one of the son's of the first vampire ruled the east and his older brother ruling the west. In the south was humans that tried to stay out of what was going on in the north, east and west since they didn't want to be under the control of those monsters. The vampires controlled most of the land since most demons only thought about torture and the like. The demons that vampires kept by their sides were Fox demon's. The vampire's found out that fox demon blood was able to substain them longer then human blood. They also found it sweeter then human blood. Their was one vampire that had yet to find himself a fox demon and this man's name was Malikai. He was vampire of great beauty and power. He had long silky black hair that was pulled into an pony tail. He had eyes of a bright ice sapphire that could scary any one if they looked into his eyes. He had a swimmers body that could fool any one into thinking that he was weak.


Malikai slowly walked through one of the human town's in his territory. He had grown annoyed at all of the paper work that he had to fill out at home. His best friend Sebastian was currently away taking care of something for him up in the northern territory. The only light that was out at the moment was the full moon and there was a slight breeze. He stopped in his tracks when he caught a most delicious scent. He looked towards were the scent was coming from. He was surprised by what he saw. There was currently a young man with long red hair that was pulled up high on his head. His eyes were of a bright lavender that flashed with mischief. The vampire could tell by his attire that the boy was a Hunter. The vampire blinked when he noticed the difference in the Armour that the boy was wearing since it was only worn by those who were vampire hunters. 'What is a vampire hunter do here?' He thought to himself.

The vampire hunter could feel eyes on him as he walked through the town. He was planing on staying in a church tonight to get some rest since the inn was closed. He was annoyed that he had to go through this village since this was were his twin brother had been taken from him. 'Come on Cecil you need to get over this and just get to the church. After tomorrow you won't have to come back to this town until after your mission is finished.' He said to himself. Through his musing's Cecil didn't notice he had been walking until he ran head first into a strong chest. “What are you doing out so late, Little One?” Malikai asked with a smirk on his face. The vampire looked down at the vampire hunter.

Cecil's senses went hay wire when he finally realized he had just ran into a very powerful vampire. “None of your business, demon.” Cecil answered glaring up at the vampire. “You are in my territory so it is my business human.” The vampire growled. “If you want to know so bad I am just passing by, I am just heading to the church to get some rest and then I am out of here.” The red head replied trying to keep the malice out of his voice. ' Something isn't right here, he smell's too good to be a human and his face looks firmilair.' The vampire prince thought looking at the hunter's face. Cecil growled in annoyance and moved away from the vampire. The hunter had a bad feeling that he was about to be found out that he wasn't a human at all. You see Cecil came from a very rare breed of fox. He was what was known as a seven tailed fox. There was currently only two in the world and they were Cecil and his twin brother Zan.

Cecil's hair was normally a sliver but since he was a hunter he was forced to dye his hair red since that was a symbol of all hunters be them vampire or demon hunters. “I will take my leave now if you don't mind demon.” He growled out making his way around the vampire. He was stopped in his tracks when he felt a very powerful grip on his arm. “Were do you think you are going little one, a unclaimed shouldn't be wondering around at night.” The vampire said in a knowing voice. “If you want to keep your hand I suggest you let go demon.” The hunter demanded. Cecil was trying to ignore all of his fox instincts that told him submit to the vampire but his hunter training wouldn't allow him to go down without a fight. The red head gripped a dagger that was near his waist in his hand making to keep his threat very real to the vampire that held his wrist.


Malikai smirked at the boy's attempt to get free but now he was growing pissed as he saw a weapon beaning drawn. The vampire twisted the arm that he was holding so hard that the sounds of bones could be heard. Cecil let out a scream of pure agony as his arm was broken. He dropped his dagger that held and tried to fight back the tears that threatened to fall. The fox glared up at the vampire that was holding his now broken arm. His eyes were flashing from violet to blue due to his anger and pain. The spell that kept his ears and tails was coming undone due to the pain. 'He is going to be fun. Although we are going to have to do something about that ghastly red hair.' Malikai thought as he looked at the silver ears that had black tips at the top and the seven fluffy fox tails that also had black tips at the ends. “ You are Zan's brother aren't you?” The vampire prince asked.


“Wouldn't you like to know.” Cecil hissed in pain. He yelped when he was pulled by his arm as the vampire began walking away. Malikai had come to the decision that he was going to keep this fox since he had been lonely for awhile now and not to mention hungry. He was sure the fox was most likely getting sick as well. Fox demon's normally got sick a lot since their blood held a lot of vitamins and other nutrients. If they held it in their body for to long they could get sick and in some cases die. The vampires helped them by taking their blood and all that the vampires asked of the foxes was to give up their freedom and stay by their side.


“Let go of me.” Cecil growled as he dug his leather boots into the ground in order to stall the vampire. He ignored the pain his arm as he did this. The vampire let out a sigh as he stopped. It looked like the red head wasn't going to go without causing some type of scene. He turned to face the fox before breathing in the foxes face causing the boy to pass out. Once Cecil was down for the count Malikai picked him up bridal style and began walking back to his castle.
