December City Nights

Why is it I only have you near in the warm summer heat?
When love is lost and summer romances are short lived?
I want to feel you on the cold December city nights
Take my hand as we walk through the snow
Let us be ethereal and silent like in my sweet dreams
The wind wraps around us as your arms wrap around me in a quiet embrace
No one can harm us tonight as we get lost in the December city nights
We have a long darkness in front of us, hours before the sun
Hours before the sun parts our lips from each others
Make love to me on this December city night
I’ll fall into you as you fall into me
Slow, gently, easily, as if you’ve known this moment for years
I’ll gasp as you enter me, it’s always by surprise
Your kisses mingle with my low moans
I’m lost to your love; I see only you and I marvel at the sight
Making love as the snow falls on this December city night
Stay intertwined with me; you’re arms are the only heat I need
Can we pretend that this is a December city night?
