Awakening

-A room out of Time-

Moans filled the small room. Grunts and the sound of flesh hitting flesh joined in. The acrid smell of sweat and blood, her flushed face and blurred eyes, her weak movements, Rein swallowed. Hair struggled free of its braid to stick to her sweat-slicked skin. Eighteen hours of hard labor, and the babe had yet to move. Her sister was bleeding out, and was struggling to remain conscious as it was. Rein closed her eyes only to have them open again as another moan came from the weak figure on the bed.

“Ael, please, answer me; who is the babe’s father?” Rein pleaded with her, needing to know if the babe would survive. She reached out and stroked Ael’s brown hair, almost black with sweat. Blue eyes, blurred and fevered, stared up at her, unseeing. Rein swallowed, and reached out to massage her sister’s swollen belly again.

“Little one, why don’t you just join us in the world?” A gasp came from Ael’s lips, and she moved them to form a sentence that made Rein’s blood run cold.

“Tehr Ak Krean. The babe’s father…” Ael’s eyes lost their remaining light, and the blood stilled its flow. Rein stared down at the body of her sister, disbelief warring with dread. The silvery shine of a knife flashed, and she sliced open Ael’s womb, only to witness the truth in those words. The babe was marbled pale pink and deep purple, with small red-tipped wings and tail. Perfectly formed, it betrayed its father’s blood in the six horns growing from its dark pink hair, as well as the clawed hand thrust up and wrapped around its mother’s heart, even in death.

“Tehr….Why did you mate with a Tehr? Stupid, stupid Ael.” Her voice lowered into its natural tone for a moment, the low growl echoing in the silent chamber filled with the stale scent of blood and sweat and death.

-Kingdom of Kirn, year 842-

She cowered beneath the table, barely breathing as heavy footfalls crossed the rough wooden floor around her. The man’s heavy breathing filled the air, almost blocking out the sound of her racing heart. He grew closer, and she knew his companion was near, yet not in this room with him. She shrank away from his boots when they paused at the edge of the table. Holding her breath, she stared at the scuffed leather, silently pleading. The tablecloth was suddenly whipped off, and she scrambled away from him with a shriek. Hands reached out and grabbed her dress, and she toppled back to slam into his chest. His arms wrapped around her tightly, and she gagged on the rancid smell of unwashed flesh.

“OY! C’mere and take a gander at this luvely morsel I caught meself!” He leaned in and took a deep breath of her hair, and she flinched away from the close contact. He chuckled, and his hand slipped down the neckline of her simple frock to grope her breast. She shrieked, and struggled, but that only served to excite him even more. Thudding of boots announced the arrival of his companion. The heavy footfalls slowed, and then took up and easy step, circling around his partner until he was looking at her. She stared back at him with tearful eyes, and he grinned, showing missing teeth.

“Cor, you got yerself a right armful there…lemme have some.” Between the two of them, her skin was bare in the manner of moments. Her breasts were kneaded and sucked, her womanhood plundered by fingers from both men. Her hands were held above her head, caught at the wrists by a large, rough hand. The men grinned down at her, and she whimpered. One fumbled with his belt, while the other simply shoved his pants down. That one thrust himself into her, and she arched back, screaming at the intrusion. The other shoved her forward, and stretched her ass wide. He shoved himself inside, and both men groaned in ecstasy as she stared up at the ceiling, mouth open in a soundless scream. The men began thrusting in earnest, grabbing at her breasts and hips, lips sucking at her skin as she bore their treatment. Her eyes began to roll back, and she let her head fall backwards, and the men began to thrust even harder, their lustful moans mixing and blending with each other, peppered by grunts and the sounds of their flesh slapping against hers. They quickened as each sought his own release, and both erupted in screams when it arrived.

Later, the bodies drained of their life forces, the Erotikus known as Rein wiped her mouth and straightened her dress. Luckily, those clods hadn’t ripped or torn it when they stripped her. Humans were so easily manipulated. Haunt their dreams for a week or two; show yourself as a timid and shy young female, and soon they go mad and act rashly on their desires. It was easy to achieve meals among the humans. Now, Demons on the other hand, Demons were trickier to blind to the true nature of Rein and her kind. They could sense the strangeness about her, and were wary of dreams as a whole, so dreams about someone they’ve never encountered immediately put them on edge. The stronger the Demon, the harder to entice into bed, but the greater the rewards.

Pity about the challenge, as her ultimate target was one of the Tehr, an ancient race of demons akin to God Descendants. Truly impossible to find one on the plane of Humans, and difficult to track in the Dreamscape, they rarely left their chosen home in the Demon World. She was on the trail of one of their lesser kind, and she knew that even this slight demon was still difficult to track. The aura kept vanishing and reappearing, almost as if it knew she was following it. Which could be entirely possible.

Rein left the town that night, knowing that the morning would bring townsfolk with torches and witch hysteria. In his true form, he slipped from shadow to shadow, his tail wrapped around his waist and his wings hooked in a makeshift cape. Half-lidded dark amethyst eyes completed the transformation from Human to Erotikus. He slid into the half-shade form that he had acquired from a Vampyr some century and a half ago, and followed after the spotty trail of the young demon.

A few hours into the night, and the moon began to rise over the rocky shoal of Trema Lake, revealing the figure of a strong male body. Shaggy black hair brushed broad shoulders, and wings of a deep black stretched lazily around him. Well toned, his body was lean, masculinity without overly muscled, with an aura like that of a restless predator. He lounged along a flat rock, the water lapping at his waist, hiding the rest from view. Rein crouched on a low branch of an oak, high above the beach on a gently sloping hilltop. He took in the measure of the Demon below, and found himself pleasantly satisfied. As far as he could tell, the Demon was not found wanting in any area, although three had yet to be explored, one of which could be solved if the Demon just….Ah!

The Demon shifted, revealing a tapered torso, a trim waist, and a rather impressive manhood, even in the chilly waters of the Trema. Rein licked his lips, and curved them in a smile. Below was a member of the Tehr, a rather powerful member. Rein studied the level of power and decided that the Demon was either a Rogue or a First Son, either of which would keep him well sated for centuries, as well as bestow a few new powers. The smile broadened as he faded into the Dreamscape. He was going to enjoy this…
