The Broken Doll
What do you do with a broken dolly?
Patch up her wounds and say you’re sorry?
What do you do when all you do is atone?
You patch up your dolly and you bring her back home.
Dolly mixture, loved and fixed her.
Sugar sweet, my only fixture.
The only one I ever knew, the only one who dragged me through,
until I broke her, until she stopped,
now I drown in bubblegum pop.
I touch her lashes, I feel her breath.
Her sugary voice scares me to death.
If I'd have held her, If I'd have known.
The lights are dimming and she can't go home.
I gave the pain, I'll make it stop.
I'll pull her from the wreckage of bubblegum pop.
