The Path Of Destiny
For those who are reading on Y Gallery, this story revolves around my character 'Corin Tallawa', seen in the last few chapters of 'Ectoplasmic Love'.

Prologue
In the year 2012 the world went to crap.
It started with an alien calling himself Zimmer enacting an world-wide invasion, using men; women and even children he had kidnapped over an twenty year period as soldiers in his vast armies.
No country was spared the invasion, no land not captured, no religion or civilization spared.
Every powerful group from government to military and even law enforcement had these brain-washed mindless enhanced soldiers among them and for every one the humans were willing to cut down of their own, three more suddenly popped up to replace them. Even the terrorist factions found themselves infiltrated.
It was kind of ironic, now the terrorists knew what it was like.
The forces gathered together, enmassing and heading into action, starting to overpower every country or civilization all around the world.
The world could do nothing, helpless against their own by shear numbers and force, the civilized world tethering on the very brink of complete and utter destruction and surrender, the forces moved in and then...
Nothing.
As one, on the 2nd of April 2012 each and every brainwashed figure suddenly stopped, motionless.
For hours they stood motionless, as if awaiting something or someone until one by one they blinked and came too, back to themselves and normal. Then the people started to disappear again, reappearing in perfect health with no implants or brainwashing, perfectly normal and with no memory of what happened.
For six months the world was baffled, what had happened? Why had these programmed soldiers stopped and who and what had turned them back to normal?
Then America, in its greed and ego, came forward and claimed responsibility.
They claimed they had developed a type of sub-wave signal that had disrupted the ones running the citizens programmed to attack long enough to fry the entire signal system world wide and free the world wide population.
An uproar had came from that.
World wide and in hundreds of cities and countries a group of citizens who had been missing during the seize came forward to news and radio stations, an DVD each and went on the air to at last reveal the truth and events behind both the seize and the reason it shut down, their proof? A DVD from the surveillance camera that filmed the entire events.
Once the hundreds of DVD’s were examined and authenticated, documented around the world as real and untampered it was shown world wide.
A base built deep in the Antarctic, human prisoners being enhanced and brainwashed before transported back to their lives with out memory.
An strangely dressed man, with a long thin body, corpse-grey skin, huge black eyes ruling over the whole thing. The human slave who vaguely looked like him, the robots dragging new person after person in only to be enhanced and programmed as well.
The events leading up until his attempted take over of the world.
Then the group of…unusual people, twelve in all, bursting in and the fight that ended it all, the blonde teenaged boy who was the one responsible for driving the grey skinned invader from the planet at the last minute, so stopping the entire event.
When America and other countries tried to scoff it as make-up, playing off the almost tragedy the people with the DVD’s not only revealed the group had no idea they took copies of the video, but took their countries and authorities to various sites where they were taken for programming and other places to prove their truth.
Even though there was parts and programmes missing from each site, taken by the group to insure the technology didn’t fall into the wrong hands there was enough left the prove the authenticity of not only their claims but their stories, yet the group remained in secret.
However twice more when evil raised it’s head and the world was in danger, the group was seen again.
Soon though, they would reveal themselves, a group of unusually talented people, all affected in some way by evil or the evil deeds of others who had banded together to protect the world and seek out those doing wrong around the planet.
In fact, as the years went by and their popularity and influence grew, cases such as serial killers, child and paedophiles, rapes and the such started to dramatically drop, slowly but surely buckling under the influence of these gifted beings.
Among the group were Psychics and mind readers, people who could read the thoughts of even the most talented liars and suspects.
As their popularity and usefulness grew, their influence and the demand for their services, so the group slowly grew, but they had stringent tests and those who DID join all ended up with usual talents and abilities, there seemed to be an sudden increase as it seemed those in the world who had hidden their talents now came out when faced with being able to show their abilities without rancour or mockery.
Within at least fifty years the group had become the highest authority of the planet, even the former terrorist countries unwilling to give up their protection and privilege by attacking other countries. (Besides, what was the point when the minute you pull a terrorist attack you had people reading your mind and finding the culprits easily.)
Through the group the TRUE history of the human race was revealed, how the evil being from long ago was one of the modern descendants of one of the two alien races who had been responsible for the existence of humans. They revealed the existence of what was later dubbed Mutants as the current line of those two, closer to the inherited abilities of their ancestors, explaining things like mind readers, Psychics and such.
Included among the new revealed races from these was an American Indian originated group called Idars, mutantvampires-not evil as many books on the immortal creatures claimed. The group revered life, the earth and nature, seeing it as their job to help and protect all good life on the planet.
There WAS evil Idars out there, evil vampires who killed and violated, but also Idars who actively hunted them and destroyed those-for the good of everyone else.
There was then one race revealed that was a pure and direct modern human descendants from one of the races humans originated from, however about thirty years before the attempted invasion some of the races once revering disciples turn on them, using the magic they had been trained and taught in to slaughter their teachers, slaughtering an once pure, beautiful race.
The only survivors of this once great race that survived centuries were hidden among humans or interbred.
This story is about some of those survivors.
