The Well

The Well

For whats seems like forever...
I was at the bottom of this well

I don't know what happened...
All I know is I fell

I tried so hard to climb out...
But all I did was fall back down

Out into the darkness I screamed...
But there was no one around

So I sat there...
For what felt like an eternity alone

In that time I realized that no one could help me...
I had to do this on my own

Upon this realization..
I sat and gathered all the strength I had

Then with everything I had in me...
I pulled myself out and thought "well that wasnt so bad"

Sitting where I was...
I laughed for what appeared to be hours

And I looked around...
At the blooming of all the flowers

What is this well you may ask...

It is where I lost myself...
Due to events in my past

But I found my inner strength again...
And I made it through

And if you ever fall into your well...
Remember you can climb out too
