Friend. Love. Whoever you are/were?
(...) Backround voices.
Broken. Beaten. I had no clue,(no idea) Your invisible touch marked me,(like wax to a seal) Those years. Your leading.(That time you have forgotten) You had me stripped bare and sold at auction.
Only you knew me,
(made me see)
Only you saw me,
(then made me flee)
Only you helped me,
(made it a ploy)
Only you put my pieces together,
(then had me destroyed)
Over and over again, I try to think.
Over and over again, but the leash keeps me at the brink.
Over and over again, I want to. But the collars still there.
Over and over again, others flaunt and I only stare.
Only you saved my life,
(then turned it upside down)
Only you made me fight,
(taught me to swim, then made me drowned)
Only you gave me a reason,
(and when things got tough you weren't around)
Only you took the time like a season,
(you left me on the ground)
You gave me light and I finally saw hope,
But like a guttering flame that too, you smote.
The brightness at the end of this tunnel,
Seared me to the bone and made me crumble.
When you left, I tried for you.
When you left, I pried myself from you.
When you left, I cried for you.
When you left, I died for you.
Nothings the same, I don't have anymore tears.
Nothings the same, thanks to you I have some brand new fears.
Nothings the same, I even had another relationship.
Nothings the same, they chased me even just for the friendship.
Nothings changed, my life still sucks.
(On top of how much I still want you)
Nothings changed, only now I don't have you as a crux.

Nothings changed, I tried to move and deal.

Nothings changed, I'm still alone and this is all for real.

You gave me darkness.
(You showed me your heart then annihilated mine.)
