She snapped out of her inner monologue by the arrival of Aaeon some 5 feet in front of her, dressed in a white T-shirt, white draw-string pants, and his favorite sandals. 'This is it.' She told herself, 'Remember to breath, girl.'

"Thanks for meeting me here, Dak" Aaeon said as he hugged her hello "I just needed to take a break from finding Gen, you know?" "Yeah. I understand. But why here?" Dak asked tilting her head in confusion. "There's someplace I wanna show you." Aaeon said holding out his hand. Dak smiled and placed her hand in his. He pulled her into him and held her as his wings sprang forth and they took off into the air. She clung to him and squeezed her eyes tight. Five minutes later she felt them land and opened her eyes. "Whoa.." Dak said in a small voice. She looked around the small clearing in amazement. The umbrella trees surrounding the area let in just enough sun to keep the area warm and there was a small, trickling waterfall with all types of flowers around it. "How did you find this place, Aaeon?"

"I discovered it one day while checking a lead on Gen. I like to come here and be at peace." He laid down on the grass, closed his eyes and patted the ground next to him calling her over. She sat down next to him and he leaned on one arm to look at her. "You know, I like you better with your hair down." He said as he reached behind her and undid her hair making it fall onto her shoulders and around her upper arms. "Hey!," she said giggling a little "Warn a girl first, why don'tcha?" Dak said running her hand through the top of her hair. She looked at his face and saw him smirk then his normally blue eyes flashed red. She tried to stand up to run but wasn't fast enough as he caught her and pinned her to the ground.

"Aaeon! Let me go!" Dak shouted struggling against his grip. He flipped her on her back and said "Divine hold." Golden beams shot up from the ground and wrapped themselves around Dak's wrist and ankles, successfully pinning her down. "Aaeon....Please.." Pleaded Dak as Aaeon secured the lone black glove on his left hand, "Aaeon! I know your in there! I know you can hear me! You have to fight it!" "Shhhh.," 'Aaeon' said putting a finger to his lips as he straddled her, "You talk to much." He smashed his lips against her's in a bruising kiss.

When his tongue invaded her mouth she bit down oh it and earn a hiss of pain from the corrupt Aaeon above her. He quickly pulled back and raised his gloved hand to back hand her. Dak shut her eyes tight and waited for the blow, but it never came.
"Looks like your a feisty one. I can change that." She felt the bonds on her wrist and ankles get tighter and a very significant draft. She opened her eyes to discover that he had magicked all her clothes off, leaving her in her black, lacy bra and panties. "That's a lot better, don't ya think?" "You were corrupt Aaeon. He said it would crush your spirit and that you'd feel so guilty. That why he tried this." He grabbed her by the shoulders and looked into her eyes. "What did I do, Dak?"

"It's not your fault Aaeon. "Dak said hugging him and rubbing his head softly "It wasn't really you. You’d never do something like that."
"You don't understand. He doesn't act on his own feelings. He-he takes mine and twist them up" He looked up at her and saw the confused look on her face. He shut his eyes and said "The only reason he wanted to do it was cause, well, I wanted to."

When he didn't hear anything he opened his eyes and saw the look of shock and disbelief on her face. He lightly pushed her off of him and began pacing back forth going on about he was stupid, why couldn't he control himself, Gen was right he was useless, etc. Dak sat cross legged on the ground in a daze.

"This isn't how I imagined this day going."Aaeon finished and sat across from her. "Oh really? How was it suppose to go?" Dak asked as she pulled her knees to her chest to cover herself. "I was suppose to take you here then we'd watch the sky and talk and then..." He trailed off and looked away. Dak scooted closer so their knees were touching "Then what?" She said lifting his chin so he had to look at her. "Then..then I'd tell you that I love you."

Dak's eyes got wide and she started hyperventilating. She giggled crazily then abruptly stopped and asked "What?" "I love you Dakcrometes. I have since you first stumbled in to Gen's castle. "Aaeon?" Dak said half-awake. Aaeon broke away from his thoughts and said "Yes babe?" "Can you conjure my clothes back? I really don't feel like walking around naked in front of Adaru and Van." He frowned at the thought of Adaru seeing Dak naked. He'd have to be put in his place. He waved his hand and her clothes appeared neatly folded next to her. "Thanks, love." She said with a kiss before she began to get dressed. He followed suit and soon they were both dressed and ready to go. Aaeon picked Dak up bridal style and flew into the air in the direction of the town they called home for the last two years. As they landed Dak kissed Aaeon again and said "I love you." "I love you too.” He said, smiling at her, “Come on. I'm pretty sure Van is making food and I’m starving." They walked off in the direction of their camp, hands entwined the whole time.
