stand alone
I stand alone
the darkness whispers in my ear
soothing my fears with understanding
slowly pulling me into its world of nightmares and pain
I am sinking deeper and deeper into the dark
the light dosent shine for me anymore
I cry and scream but no one's around to hear
me anymore
I take the blade to my skin
just cuz' it jolts me into reality
and lets me not think about everything
for just awhile
I dont want to die
but I sometimes
wonder who would care
if I just ended it all
the pain, the drama, the fighting...
but then I think about
the good stuff and
what I would miss
and a tiny ball of light appears before me
i follow as it leads me out of the darkness
and out into the sun
I know I am going to make it after all
