Confessions of a Bisexual

Caitlyn enjoyed spending time with Brittney. They were good friends that could talk about anything. When Brittney came out saying she was Bi, Caitlyn became curious. She openly asked questions which Brittney answered.

Brittney had a boyfriend—Nick—who didn’t mind the fact that she was a bisexual, if anything it made their relationship more exciting. *wink wink* Just recently Nick moved in to test the waters in their relationship. They had been dating for 2 ½ years and they both wanted to know if marriage was a possibility in the future. Nick still had his own place, if it were to occur, to move back into.

Tonight, Caitlyn is grieving the end of a bad relationship with Brittney and alcohol. She brought the alcohol and a bag of clothes over to Brittney’s and was not planning on leaving anytime soon. Even though she isn’t much of a drinker, Caitlyn is pissed. Her relationship with Kyle wasn’t a great one—if anything it was depressing—but the four months they spent together were special.

“Let me tell you Brit, I am done with men. I’m gonna buy me a cat.” Caitlyn had a nice buzz going and was nowhere near done.

“Don’t get a cat, they are mean little bitches. Get a fish or a bird—just make sure it doesn’t talk.” Brittney only had one drink and wasn’t planning on having anymore. She only drank in moderation and always played the designated driver ever since her brother was hit by a drunk driver five years before.

“The fish or the bird, cuz if I could find a talking fish I could probably make a lot of money off it.” Caitlyn took another sip of her whiskey. She made the mistake of downing a shot of it when she first showed up. She had never had whiskey before and the burn made her gag. Now she just takes sips and chases it with coke.

“The bird, are you sure you didn’t drink something before you came over?” Brittney eyed her suspiciously

“Nope.” Caitlyn answered, popping the ‘p’ as she said it. “It doesn’t take much to get me drunk.”

“I can tell.” Brittney answered as she sipped her lemonade.

“Tell me something Brit. Why did you decide to be gay?”

“It’s not really something you decide. I am attracted to both men and women. I would be content with both. In this case, Nick won my heart.” Just then the front door opened and closed. “Speaking of…” Brittney got up to find Nick and explain why Caitlyn was there. Nick and Caitlyn go along so Caitlyn knew she wouldn’t be thrown out. If anything, Nick would join them.

Nick voiced his opinion about many things and one of those opinions was how much he detested Kyle. He said the day he met him, to Kyle’s face, that he was an ass and would not be around Caitlyn is he was with her. Brittney still would come around but not for long if Kyle was present.

“Hey Caitlyn,” Nick came into the room and sat down across from her. “Bring anything besides whiskey?” He wouldn’t ask her about it. That wasn’t how Nick was. You said the relationship was over, it’s over. You don’t want to talk about it, you don’t talk about. That’s why Caitlyn liked him so much.

“Nope,” Caitlyn answered popping the ‘p’ again. “I was asking Brit about being gay. She said you won her heart.” One of Caitlyn’s problems with drinking was she became extremely truthful and said anything and everything.
Nick smiled at Brittney, “She won mine too.”

“AAWWWWEEEEE, how SWWEEEEEEEETTTT!” Caitlyn said a little bit too loudly. Then burst into a fit of giggles.

“Isn’t she cute when she’s drunk?” Brittney said with a smile. Nick just smiled back.

“I’m cute? What type of cute? Like five year old in pigtails cute or I’m attractive cute?” Caitlyn was trying to control her giggles but couldn’t.

“You’re attractive cute, hands down, no pigtails about it.” Brittney answered.

“Really? So I’m attractive to you.” Caitlyn was trying to tease but she didn’t know what she was getting into.

“Yes you are. But you aren’t gay.” Brittney said soberly.

“If I asked, would you kiss me?” Caitlyn looked like a devious pixie. She was about five foot four with curly light brown hair that reached her shoulder blades. Her chocolate brown eyes sparkled with an innocence she didn’t know she had. She was thin but had curves that caused men’s jaws to drop and women to hate her.

Brittney looked directly into her big brown eyes and answered, “Don’t start something if you won’t finish it. Besides it’s not my permission you have to ask, its Nick’s.”

Caitlyn smiled at Nick, “Would you let her kiss me?”

Nick looked intently at Caitlyn. “You have to realize Caitlyn that it won’t stop with a kiss. Brittney has been attracted to you since you met. If you kiss her now, especially with you well on your way to drunk, it won’t end there.”

A light came into Caitlyn’s eyes as she carefully put her drink down and hopped of her stool. She walked over to Brittney without stumbling and never taking her eyes off her. “Kiss me Brittney.”
