Unknown Love and Destiny Pt 1

THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION. THIS WAS WRITTEN A WHILE AGO WITH MY GOOD FIEND ZERNA_JARA. ENJOY AND PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS WE LOVE THEM.

Endora looked at her watch again. He was late. Standing in front of their home, she looked up and down the street. It had only been a week but felt like a small life time. Tapping her foot impatiently. She hated it when he went off on these trips. Looking at her watch again.

"Where is he?" she mummbled.

Hearing a car approach she glanced up and smiled. The car came to a stop.

A tall young man came walking down the sidewalk and soon came into view of his old friend. Wearing black cotton pants that was far to high up, a striped shirt, a strong colored jacket and his backpack across his chest, he walked with short fast steps. He pushed the large glasses back on the bridge of his nose as he saw her.

He and Endora had been friends since childhood. She the eternal beauty and him the nerd. They had been raised in the same home together, which they still lived in today.

Wearing a light blue sundress with sandals her honey colored hair in a braid down her back. She looked again at the car. It wasn't him.
Pouting a bit, she scanned the area with her almond shaped sea green eyes. Then back down at her watch.

The young man could see that she was upset, he knew that she was very impatient and the best way to deal with that was to stay out of her way. But since she was most likely waiting for him, he dismissed that idea since it would only make her even more aggressive. As he was about twenty yards away and about to greet her. But a stone was sticking up out of the sidewalk and he fell on his face. Causing his backpack and glasses fall a short distance in front of him.

Catching the movement from the corner of her eye it caught her attention and she turned in time to see the man fall. Chuckling to herself, she knew her friend was back because only someone like him could do such a thing. Hurrying forward toward him, hoping he hadn't done serious injury to himself.

"Are you alright, Michael?" she
called as she approached him.

"Y..Yes" he answered as he moved his hand over the ground as he looked after the glasses. Looking completely in the wrong direction as usual.

Rolling her eyes, she stooped over, grabbed the glasses and handed them to him.

"Why didn't you come by car? and you are late."

"Thank you. I needed the exercise"

He picked himself up from the ground, the fall had made a large tare in his pants on the left knee. He limped slightly as he walked over to his backpack.

"Y... you look good" he said.

"Thank you." She responded as she helped brush some of the dirt off. "You are limping. Are you sure you are alright?"

"Y...Yes, just a little bruised. You didn't have to wait for me" the young man pushed the large glasses back on the bridge of his nose.

"Of course I had to wait for you. I missed you." giving him a light hug. "Things are rather boring around here without you. Come on let's go inside. We can get something to drink and you can tell me about your trip."

"I would like that. But what do you mean that things are boring when I am not home?" he asked as they walked back to the house with the same short fast steps.

"They just are. I have other friends but you are my best. The others don't understand like you do and you make me laugh."
