Worth the Wait

Prologue

“There it is, Las Vegas Nevada, also known as Sin City.” I pointed out the window showing my friends. We had all turned 21 this year and had decided to go to Las Vegas to try new things and enjoy freedom. Most of us had known each other for about seven or eight years. That is with an exception of two people I had known longer. The first person was Paul Vanderburgh. I had known him since second grade. He was like a brother to me. Sometimes we had our problems, but we got through it eventually. Then there was Rachel Matthews. I had known her since seventh grade. Things had gotten off to a rocky start and eventually we became really close friends. I developed a crush for her in eighth grade, but I eventually suppressed it seeing that it wasn’t going to get me anywhere. I guess I just had to be patient. We were on the plane going to Vegas. I was sitting by the window next to Rachel and Lea was next to her. Paul, Taylor Buckhout (another guy that I regard as my brother.) and Kira.

They had mostly slept the whole flight. We woke them up when the time to land was coming. Rachel and I stayed up for most of the flight. I got tired and amazingly she allowed me to rest my head on her bosom. A wonderful bosom might I add. I remember when I was younger teasing her saying that she had hardly any breast. I was lying but, why tell her that? She always had breast, they caught my attention on a regular basis when she rocked her body. I respectfully admired them and kept my hands to myself. It was harder than it sounds. At any rate I was trying to stay up to make sure everything went smooth. I was a pilot myself and I liked to make sure nothing went wrong while we were flying. Always coming to the rescue I guess but nothing was going to happen. Rachel noticed that I was struggling not to go to sleep. She kept looking at me and silently laughing. I couldn’t figure out what was so funny, so I asked.

“Hey, what’s so funny?” I suppressed a yawn and looked at her hazel eyes. They were so full of laughter and she looked back at me and shook her head.
“It’s nothing Logan, it’s nothing.” She giggled louder and held a hand over her mouth trying to stifle her laughter.
“Yes, it has to be something or else you wouldn’t be laughing so hard. Come on what is it? Spit it out.” I said as she brought a hand up to my cheek and caressed my face. I fought not to lean too much into her touch and show her how much I liked the physical contact.
“Why are you fighting so hard not to go to sleep? Everything is going to be fine so relax.” She stroked my face and worked over to my neck and rubbed it. I yawned again and shrugged.

“It’s hard to fall asleep on a plane for me. I get cramps in my neck, and I just can’t relax. I mean these pillows they have aren’t softer than a roll of toilet paper.” She probably thought I was joking or just giving her an excuse. I was actually being serious airline pillows were only good for one thing, airline decoration. Someone would have thought that over the years they would have gotten better but obviously not.

“No you’re staying up because you’re being over protective. We’ll be fine. The pilot probably has been flying twice as long as you. Rest a minuet, okay? If I need anything I’ll wake you up ok?” She guided my head down to her breast and I looked at them and then frowning I turned giving her a questioning look. She rolled her eyes and sighed, “You want to be able to sleep don’t you? I’m obviously softer than those pillows, plus you know you want to.” I bucked my eyebrows and allowed her to lay my head on her breast. The warm pillowy feeling was so comforting, combined with the stroking at the back of my head I fell asleep immediately. That was how things started, but who new that things were going to change for me, Logan Thomas Gordon.
