Love Begets Love
A/N: This is a new story which just popped up in my head of which I have been dying to put into writing since then. Please let me know if you want me to continue this story. Thank you!
Two figures were sitting on the mattress in the grass in an open space. The smaller one is sat in front of the other man, laying his head on the other’s shoulder, and the other one is holding him like there is no tomorrow.
It was very late, almost eleven p.m., but the two were oblivious to the time, they were just trying to spend some little but very precious time to be with each other’s arms. The secret is place is where they always met, to spend some time together.
“ My love… You have to go home… Somebody might discover that your are not in your bed… “ The older man whispered to the younger man in front of him.
“B-but I just want to be with you…. I don’t want to leave… I want to stay here with you… forever…” The younger man whispered back. There is certainty and conviction in every word that he said. “ I… each passing time that we are apart… is slowly killing me… “
“I know… and it is also very painful for me… All I ever wanted is to be with you… all I can ever think of all day long is you… But… but you know our situation… I still need some time to win your father’s heart… “The older man explained. Not releasing his hold on the younger man.
“Why can’t he just let us be?.... “
“My love… things aren’t as easy as they should be… But believe me when I say that I will not stop… I will not stop until your father approves of me…”
“Please… do something… I love my dad… and I don’t want that the time will come where I have to choose between the two of you…”
“ I know…. I understand completely… and I also don’t want that to happen… Things were never good between your father and me in the past…. But for your sake… for our sake… I will make things right… because I love you so… You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me… and I will do everything for you…”
“Me too… I love you so much and I just can’t bear to be away from you….” The younger man reached for the other’s lips, and the intimate kiss they shared was enough to make them both feel how they truly cared for each other.
The younger man never wanted to let go, nor did the other, but the older one knew that their time for now is up.
Jeremy only sneaked out from their house to be with Charles. They’ve been seeing each other secretly for a year now. Jeremy is only seventeen, but is so sure of his love for Charles. Charles, on the other hand, is already 32. They met at a party, when Charles never knew who Jeremy was. He was mesmerized by the youngster’s beauty and grace. The moment he saw Jeremy, he just can’t take his eyes off him. Being an eligible bachelor that he is, Charles spared no time and introduced himself to Jeremy as soon as he had his chance.
Jeremy only sneaked out with his friends to be at the party. He knew his father would never allow him to be there without him. But his father’s over protectiveness caused Jeffrey to explore the world. He had a personal bodyguard, Cleo. Cleo is as old as his father and loves him like a son. Since Cleo knew that the youngster only wanted to have some fun, Cleo would accompany him to parties, without his father’s knowledge and consent. Cleo knew that he can very well protect his ward. He just wants Jeremy to be happy. Jeremy’s mother died when he was born, and being an only son, he knew that Jeremy could be lonely sometimes. But Jeremy’s father could not understand it. He wants his son in the confines of the house all the time.
Cleo understands Jeremy’s father, too. He knew that Jeremy could be an easy target to all of his father’s enemies. And as he is coming of age, it can not also be denied that Jeremy is growing to be even more beautiful. His father would not allow his son to be snatched by just any other man, and be married early. He wants his son on his side, cherished and protected. He does not want to be a grandfather early. He knew that when Jeremy becomes fertile, which is, usually, at the age of fourteen, many men will try to ask his son’s hand in marriage. The last thing he ever wanted was his son to be treated like a breeding mare, which is normal in their society. Wealthy men will seek out young men and women, usually from ages fourteen to eighteen, so that they can conceive many children.
But Cleo also wanted his ward to enjoy his childhood. Cleo is six feet four, strong and sturdy, so he knew that nobody can get past through him. Nobody will dare attempt to have their way with his ward while he is around.
During their first meeting, there was instant attraction between the two. Jeremy never experienced love before. But the moment he saw Charles, he just can’t explain his feelings. Cleo rushed to his side almost instantly, already knowing who the other man was. But Jeremy begged him to let them be. With Jeremy’s constant pleading, Cleo let them be, with the thought that the simple acquaintance would not go any deeper. He was terribly wrong.
When Charles knew who Jeremy was, he tried everything to stay away fro the younger man. But all his efforts were in vain. Until he finally gave in to his feelings.
When Jeremy admitted to Charles that he also love him, that was the happiest day of his life. He swore to himself that he will do everything to gain Jeremy’s father’s trust. That he would never give up for the sake of his one true love. He has searched everywhere. But he never felt this kind of feeling before. Jeremy was different from any other person that he met before. He loved him like no other. And he swore to himself that nothing, not even age, nor Jeremy’s father, could stop their love for each other….
