Princess Of Darkness
~Prologue~
Molly Matter saw herself in the window, she tilted her head to the side, she had a emo comb over, with part of her hair tied up in the back, the other half letting it fall off her back. She had just came from school, her eyes roamed down to the school uniform her mother forced her to wear every day since her mother first enroll her to that shity school. She hated the green skirt to the white T-shirt and the stupid small red bow tie, she absolutely hated everything about the uniform, she would like to have worn the boy's uniform then this.
Molly turned her head away from the window, she looked down the sidewalk to see others in the same uniform coming towards her. She knew them by face, not by names. She rather not remember anyone who went to the same school as her, there were some boys she talked to, none of the girls though.
Molly leaned back on the window, her hands behind her back, tapping them against the window. Her face was blank from any emotion, her eyes point across the road to the other sidewalk. The group passed by her without looking at her, she was thankful, even if they had talked to her she wouldn't have reply to neither of them.
She eyebrows raised up at the feeling for water pouring down on her, she looked up to the clouded sky. She brought one of her hands up, shielding her eyes as she continued to stared at the falling rain. Her eyes shifted from the sky and down the side walk to the group of girls, watching them squeak and gasp as their uniform was being soak in water. She smiled a little as they started to ran, looking for shelter from the rain.
Molly turned to walk the other way, away from the girls and towards the canopy, going under before the rain could get her. She wrapped her arms safety around her. Molly shifted one of her hands to her cheek, whipping away a droplet that landed on her.
Molly stared at the rain that seems to bring people inside, it made her smile. The rain could be a powerful thing to make people do that, and them not realizing it was making them leave when the rain wanted them too.
Molly stayed outside, she wasn't afraid of getting wet, ever since she was a toddler she loved to play into the rain. She doesn't play in it anymore, she had to grown up, be dull like everyone else, nobody seems to laugh anymore or just be goofy.
She glared at the sounds of thundering, rain was one thing but thundering was another thing. Her father was stuck by a bolt of lighting when she was still a baby, her mother become a stripper to pay her father funeral and then later the bills. Her mother didn't want to get a real job like the other mothers had, her mother made three thousand a night and that isn't adding the tips.
Molly was about to leave until some guy in a grey sweat shirt and baggy pants with chains hanging all around his pants, the guy looked up and smiled at her and gave her a slow wink. This guy had it all, from his looks to his walk, everything about him was smooth. Just like a bolt of lighting he was gone, she turned her attention to the road and not at the guy, at least when he was pass her and then she will look.
Molly thought now was a good time to get in a peek at the guy's back, her blue eyes shifted down the sidewalk, a blush on her cheeks. The feeling of nervous vanished as the guy turned up missing, she let out a sad sigh. That guy is about a eight in her book of total hottie's, to bad they didn't talk.
Molly went about to her business, the kind that just leaned back and watched the world go by. She didn't want to go home, for reasons that meant to be left to tell some other time. She could just stand here, it's not like someone was going to tell her to leave, but as she continued to watch the rain falling even harder, that's when she began to think that she probably have to find somewhere else for her to hide out from the rain.
Molly ran out from the canopy, with a hands over her head. Her eyes looked around for a good place to go, she stopped as some steps going downwards, a door was at the bottom with a welcome sign attached.
She walked down the sideways, afraid of slipping do to the amount of rain, she got to the bottom safe but wet. She roughly shoved the door opened, and softy closed it behind. She flung her hair from her eyes as she turned around to the dark place, she shallowed the thickness in her mouth, she nervous comb back her hair and gave them a small smile.
This place was filled with male's adult about ten times her own age, small round tables with about three chairs to each and a band performing on a small stage with an iron fence, smoke filled the air with it's toxins flumes. She crossed her arms over her C cup breast, she suddenly had a feeling that when guys are eyeing her body, maybe coming down here was a bad idea. Being a lonely seventeen year old girl, her clothes wet the same at her long black hair. She heard many cases of rape, and her like this surrounded by the males eyes, she could think of anything else but to protect her body.
“You shouldn't be here alone..” A voice told her not far away.
She whipped her head towards the male voice, her hair flung to the front of her body. It was the same guy from before, the perfect eight. “I'm not here alone.” She lied through her teeth. She had to be brave and not show fear.
He chuckled, “who are you here with?”
“A friend.” She shrugged at him, the corner of her lip turned down, then other turned up.
The guy leaned back in his seat, raising a shot glass to his lips. “That's funny. I didn't seen anyone else wearing that uniform....I guess I must have missed her.” His voice was smooth it should have been locked up for being that smooth.
Molly got up the nerve to walk over to his table. “Mind if I sit down and wait for her?” Her hand lightly touched the chairs back, she was ready to pull it out and sit down.
He smiled up at her boldness. “It's a free country, also a free bar.” He watched her gracefully tuck her skirt under her butt before sitting down. “You never been here before, have you?”
“I- I never really been here before..” She gave him the truth instead for another lie.
He nodded his head. “So, school girl you have a name.”
She bit her lower lip, “Molly.”
“Marcus.” They stared at one another until Marcus's glanced away from her. “You shouldn't be here..” He whispered.
“Where should I be at?” She asked.
His eyes snapped back to her, “home.”
Her head lowered, her eyes stared at the empty shot glass. “Their's no one there?” She whispered lowly.
“You don't have any parents?” Marcus looked over at the band for a second and then back to her.
Molly glanced up through her blackette hair, she didn't want to tell a complete stranger that her mother left her all alone in mobile home on the far east side of the city. “I didn't say that! I just said that they're not home yet. That's why I'm with a friend.” Her mother did tell her she could lie better then anyone that she known. “Since you are an old person what do you do for a living?”
“I'm twenty-one, clearly not that old as you claim me.”
She smiled inside her head, she got this guys age and he didn't know that what she wanted. “Twenty-one huh.” She nodded, “and what do you do?”
Marcus licked his dried up lips, “why should I tell a snot noses girl like you....” Molly looked pissed but soon calm right back down, “'cause this snot noses girl is curious.”
“Molly you don't want to know what I do, trust me..you don't.” Marcus held his head high, he wasn't ashamed about want he was doing, he grew up and matured a lot fasted then his friends that still wanted to play in gangs, or do a pass by with guns. He hadn't done it in awhile, Marcus had a now job. He was taking courses to get his GED -since he had dropped out when he turned seventeen- so he could go to college and get a proper education.
“Marcus-”
He set the empty shot glass down. “You're just a child. Why not leave this awful place?”
“I could ask you the same.” She boldly said. Licking her salty lips as she glanced away from him to look around the smoky bar.
“And I know we will answer with two different answers.” Marcus stood up and walked around the table, grabbing the school girl underneath her arm. Jerking her off her chair, getting attention from everyone in the bar as they only watched on. She began shouting profanity as he ignored her and dragged her to the exit. He pushed her in front of himself and placed both hands over top of her shoulders, he gave a hard shove at her. He turned back around when he placed her outside the bar, he turned away from her to go back inside. “Go home little girl.” He tossed over the should as he went back inside.
Molly was bristling with angry. “I'm not that young!” She retorted as she hmph and did what he told her.
